Went for dinner with the family at a maid cafe. :scared:

The error above is that it has 'family' and 'maid cafe' in one sentence. (I don't know about you but to me at least)

Me and my dad were struggling to keep ourselves there as my dad would never be caught dead in a place like that (not that we have anything against maid cafes)

It all started when my mum discovered Groupon, a group purchase discount site. She said she bought a deal at this 'Japanese restaurant' for the whole family so I assumed we were going for sushi, yay! :D When we arrived, turned out it was a maid cafe. :nervous: Topic of conversation while waiting for meal was "why in the world did my mum buy dinner for the family here?!". I mean, it's okay if you go there with your anime enthusiast friends to hang out and all but, come on, family dinner?! Anyway, the meal was good and the maids were cute but I wouldn't recommend the awkwardness of having your family dinner at a maid cafe. :scared: :)

Oh and I still love my mum. :)

Wish I could go to one of those. :(

Got home at 5am, and went too sleep. Got up at 6:30am and left for a 9 hour work day. On my lunch period now, and good god, will this day never end?

Well since I'm sick I slept until 11 and got woken up my dad to go to his friends house to practice driving manual. So I went up and we just say for a while and when his friend was leaving we went and started practicing. Since his driveway is really long and on a hill it's better to practice on than where I learned to drive. I had no problems with pulling away from a hill but I kept ****ing up when I was just gently pulling away from the grass. And I kept stalling it when just letting the clutch slip because I had my foot on the brake.

So good day I'd say.

Good, the Parents announced we are spending our Christmas down in Monaco! This is awesome as we've already had two Holidays this year.

You lucky 🤬 I would love to go to Monaco. Anyway my day has been good got my aunt down at the moment I just got back from seeing my friends at the park, been to Sidmouth and Taunton which was cool.

Got up at 2. :ouch:
Found out from Speed who won the F1 race, I wanted to watch it tonight. :(
Going to watch the Atlanta NASCAR race and pull an allnighter to get back on track for school.

But the fun thing is that I'm in the middle of making a paper mache Group C bodyshell for a knex car, and the chicken wire is really hard to bend, but it's coming along nicely.
I just have to make the back end taper off a bit, and then add a wire wing for the mould.

Today was alright, woke up at 2pm, played Madden 12, washed dishes, ate food, washed more dishes, and worked on the logo for my 'project' today. I'm heading to bed in a bit to get back in to the school sleeping schedule (start back on Tuesday). Tomorrow is going to fly by, I absolutely know it.

Paper-mache is so much fun. What mixture do you use? :)

Started off by sleeping in, then waking to ice cream and cookies. Then some time spent with model cars, then caught up with a bit of paperwork in my Home office, the took the family out for a late lunch/ early dinner kind of thing (they'll end up eating again later for sure) some grocery shopping since it's a long weekend and the shops will be closed Monday, then some household chores, with a bit of NASCAR, and a bite of fish with a drink, and then some GTPlanet.. . .
Life is so full of the deliciously mundane.

Nothing more than an ordinary day to say here today, except for sharp climate change outside where the weather suddenly starts worsening(driving rain and a repetitious thunderclaps) after an irregular interval of its temporary improvement... :(

First time using the paper mache I just mixed flour and water together in a bowl and blended it, no fancy boiling or anything.

Here's some pics of the car, I couldn't finish it tonight, but it'll be done with in the week hopefully.
The mixture that I used at the start was a bit chunky and so the front is kind of bad, but it's a bit better as I went on. I'm going to put on another layer of newspaper, and then a layer of white paper so that I can paint it.

This morning, I was driving along when a 2012 Vauxhall Corsa pulls out of a side road and just pulls out and starts driving.
I had to brake very hard to avoid collision. So I flashed my high beams at him.
As we go down the road we stop at a set of traffic lights; and the man comes out the car absolutely furious and starts directing a lot of abuse at me.
I was naturally shocked so I put my window up a bit (my doors are always locked)...while he continues to threaten me. I then start to realise that I wasn't in the wrong and he was and get very angry so I undo my seatbelt and in doing so the driver starts to stand back. At that point I was thinking "I could take you easily" (violence is wrong - however i thought standing up for myself would make him realise what he was doing) because of my height and build compared to his. I think he realised this and started walking away. I get out my car and taunted him to come and try what he said he'd do (a lot of swear words and breaking things), instead I was replied with "*swear word* try it next time" as he started walking back and then drove away. I didn't understand this as it would have been no different from this time...

I was still very shaken from it as I had just woken up half an hour ago and the adrenaline was rushing through me. I guess the guy must of been having a bad morning and he unfortunately decided to take his anger out on me.
I have never had road rage to the extent of being verbally abused and threatened, now that I think back about it; it was hilarious.

Thinking back about it I probably wouldn't of done anything different.

The rest of the day was normal, nothing remotely exciting or eventful to write about.

So yup, that was my event of the day and thought I'd share my experience on GTP.

Welp, school has started. 🤬

That itself is not much of a problem to me, but as the new school year comes we have a lot of changes in terms of teachers. What infuriates me the most is that we now have a new English teacher. Since 5th grade we used to have English with a decent looking lady which has now, for apparently no reason, been exchanged by an old man. :yuck: (She is still around, but she teaches the new 5th graders now... lucky bastards, it'll come unto them! They will grow to her for 5 long years and then be left alone in the rain.) That alone doesn't bother me a lot, but as you might figure 5 full years of English with the same teacher makes for a lot of experience and knowledge about us on her side, which is now all gone and the new guy hasn't got a clue about us.

Now since I am in 11th grade and stuff is starting to get serious, you'd expect the lessons to get more difficult and to require a certain amount of skill, right? Right? :sly:

No. :grumpy:

I was actually looking forward to a challenge of sorts, because as you might be able to tell (I don't mean to sound cocky!) for a German my English is pretty good and I felt somewhat bored up until now. Well now I could just stay home during the English lessons, I don't even know what I'm supposed to learn... :ouch:

The guy starts off like in elementary school for 🤬 sake! Nobody even bothers to raise their hand because his questions are the most obvious stuff ever. It feels like we are being catapulted back to 5th grade. It is a serious PITA. :banghead: Then on the other hand the 2 lessons we had today mainly consisted of him having a monologue about stuff nobody cares about, then handing out a paper with a text to read before deciding he'd pick on somebody to read out a full 3 lines and then translate them into German. Great! A real 🤬 challenge. :dunce: The text itself was more at our level, but using this method it felt like kindergarten.

I wonder how we're supposed to fulfill the curriculum that way. :nervous:

Enough ranting, sorry for that.

Very good. Went to the athletics at the Paralympics, the stadium and park are amazing. As are the athletes of course.

Not bad, went round to a friends house and got some music and stuff off her. Then refunded as cycling Jersey, got a sexy green valve cap, which doesn't match my bike in any way, but whatever. Spent the rest of the day chilling, listening to new music I bought. Good times.

It was ok, not how I wanted to spend it though. I was visiting my grandmother in the hospital for a majority of the day, then went with my dad to his parents house. At least I got food out of it.

Just changed my time table at college so I don't have to stay till 16.45 on mondays.:D

Pretty mediocre, school was boring as usual and I spent the rest of the time up until now by doing homework and watching Anime.

Until I got this in my e-mail inbox... The Murderbox MKII is out.

Jaw. To. The. Floor.

That thing starts at 1200$... for the case only. Now slap some adequatly high-end innards into it and you'll be well over 6000$/€/£/whatever.

It was ok. One of my cats finally caught a fly that had been bugging us for a few days. Also, I tried playing Slender. I can't see how that got so popular.

Threw TDU2 in after months of putting it away, downloaded all patches, and now back to the addiction of high-speed 'Frimming' through drunken traffic.
A bit like real life - except when you flash your lights, they don't get out and swear - they accept the challenge to race.
Easy money.
Maybe Life should imitate Art.

How was my day ? Yeah it was pretty good . Drove to work in my green pug 106 , came home and chilled . Seeing the girlfriend tomorrow and then working all weekend as per .

In the meantime i'm looking for different work in the city , more money to be made there . Hope everyone has had a good day too :)

Pretty good day. I have a math test tomorrow (best of luck hopefully) and might have to carry my cello to school.

Fairly good day, went to school around 7:50 Am and found so much fog you couldn't see a few metres in front of you which I thought was epic!

My day has been mixed, with one happening standing out...

It's been the first week of school and we had French lessons for the first time today. About a week ago, I asked the girl I like whether I could sit next to her (does that ring a bell, AC/DC fans? :sly:). She's been sitting next to a friend of her all the years before, which made me think it would be silly to ask at first, but I gave it a try nonetheless. You can imagine I was kind of amazed when she told me she'd ask her friend whether she'd be okay with that on Monday. I mean, that told me she'd be willing to give up the seat next to her established friend for the ordinary guy she shouldn't even give a 🤬 about aka me.

Well, Monday passed, so did Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I kinda gave up hope 'cause I thought she'd tell me right away.

Turns out I was wrong! :) When I stepped into the classroom, I picked another seat at first, but then she approached me and asked where I'd like us to sit. So yeah, that went well.

And as hawkeye122 put it extremely well some time ago, I'm just gonna quote what I thought then:

Foot. In. The. Door.

Some guy ran into me at school. Wasn't too pleasant. He didn't actually hit me, but it was really awkward.
