Well today was picture day and as usual, they make you do the worlds stupidest poses ever. I can't wait to see how bad I look!

 I got my picture back today, they tilted my head so much, it always happens.

I don't understand why they make you do it. Then they make you do some smile that's uglier than the jokers. I'm pretty sure I can get a better photo with my phone

My last couple of days were quite nice. Went down to the US for the weekend, and got myself a nice jacket and sweater at a considerably smaller price than what I'd have paid up in Canada. So that was nice.

And today I managed to win at cards with my friends, and I rarely best them at the game I played today, so that feels good as well.

Other than that, school is just starting to get interesting, and as a bonus I like my partner for my Soviet History project (also a rare occurrence!).

Life it pretty good at the moment...

Thank god that this year the lady took it as soon as I smiled, so it isn't bad in that respect.

Anyway, today was good overall. I practiced parallel parking again, and I'm getting it nearly perfect every time. I'm much more confident taking my car and not my sister's Neon, practice was all I needed. I also got to listen to my favorite band nice and loud, and in addition I re-learned 360s and toboggans on my BMX. I almost learned turndowns, too. Weather is beautiful, so I think I'm going to go do my homework on the patio.

These next few weeks are going to be pretty tough......

It's tough at first but you'll get used to it.....

What neema_t said was what I was about to post, Pagey . . . immerse yourself in the stuff you have to do, and you'll find that as you go about your business people may approach you, and you'll come to meet the destinies that you need to fulfil. Good luck. At least you got GTP for now - until we lose you to drink, drugs, and ruin. :sly:

Learned today that an over production of food can leave people starving. :odd:
Isn't that absolutely mind-boggling? I still can't wrap my head around it.

👍 What would Life be if there was not at least one single Happy person left on Earth?

 And Parents (like me) have to live with the results for the rest of our lives.
Look this way! No here. Smile. You shook.

Well my day was hectic - just tying up the last project - now some odds and ends to catch up during the rest of the week before I start off another round of Contracts from the 1st. And the paperwork, now . . .:grumpy:

The weather is turning cold of a sudden - even the medium weight jackets are coming out, and there is that nip in the air in the early morn that fills one's chest with a freshness that can only come from the cleanest breath of Mother Earth. It's a great feeling. Prana.

Tomorrow - car dealer. My Olds' oil light comes on and off intermittently. Oil pressure? Sensor? Hope it's not too bad a hiccup.

Travelling. Me hates it.

Aeroplane - taxi - hotel - dinner - work tomorrow. :grumpy:

Some fool is letting off fireworks next to the hotel so I doubt sleep will come easy tonight.

I'm such a numb mood these last few days, even with the meds, might be lacking vitamins.

The economy means that if you over produce food prices fall a lot. Farmers then go poor and so do people supplying them with loans and machinery as they can't repay/buy and then so do the companies who are supplying those companies with things like metal as they are not using the materials and also everyone working for these farmers/companies have a chance of getting made redundant. So everyone ends up too poor to buy food.

Anyway my day today? Ok morning in college afternoon at home. :D

I like my afternoons off. :)

Finished work at 12 noon, paid until 2pm. Aaaah yeaahhhh ;)

Today was pretty good. I've been having trouble finding a decent car for something I could pay off right away, as I'm only 16. Today in school I found a 1986 Nissan 300ZX in great shape, manual, and 105k miles on it for $2,500 OBO. I'm really going to try and get my parents on my side, since I can buy it myself and I've never seen one in as good condition or mileage for this price.

Today was pretty good, not a lot went wrong, aside from the principal not letting me go to the library to renew my book. I'll blame it on him if I get a fine

Well, this is one of the best days in my life, I received some great grades, and unexpectedly, I went to the movie theater to see "Ted" that was one of the best movies I've ever seen so far, I was with my girlfriend and some of my best friends, and when I was going to my house, I've seen a white Lamborghini Aventador..... :D :D :D :O

Routine day, as usual. :guilty:

I need to do something stupid tomorrow. Stop this boring routine. Should ask out a girl, maybe... 💡

Well, most of today was mediocre. I've come to the conclusion that someone has stolen my USB so that really annoys me. But I saw a Toyota 86 GT after school. It was in my favourite colour for them (dark burnt orange colour). And I spent last spell on the drum kit, (I was meant to be singing in practice for something but the drum kit distracted me. I had to set it up because I'm about 80% left handed when it comes to a drum kit. My snare is to my right, a round from highest tom to lowest tom goes from top right to bottom left, high hat is in the normal place, as is the bass drum. The ride cymbal is to the right/back of the high hat and the crash is at the back slightly left from the middle. And then if I had more cymbals I would have the same arrangement mirrored but slightly further around so nearer the snare. All I need is a double kick (or a second bass drum), and a cowbell.... Needs more cowbell. ;)

I also told the principal my reasons for not joining in on cultural day practice. Which is, I'm not going, as it digs into time I could be using to do school work and earn credits to help me pass the year. Cultural day is claimed to be a day to celebrate all cultures. But it's not, it's just Maori day, as that is the only culture celebrated. And most of the school doesn't even belong to that culture, so they aren't very willing to do the Haka. The principal told me, "What does that say about your ability to accept other cultures." In which I forgot to respond with, "it gives out the wrong message. I am very accepting of other cultures, I just don't think I should have to participate in a celebration of a culture which I don't belong to."

Yes. I learned this in Grade 8, and that was decades ago. What I can't figure out is - we've become intelligent and even scientific enough to separate ourselves from having being created by some Other, than ourselves - and yet we cannot figure out by ourselves - all the brilliant minds in the world combined - how to solve World Hunger. I guess all we can think up is a name - like "The Hunger Project."

I'm hoping they'll solve this problem in my lifetime. I really hate to see any kid starve. The body wants to grow. Hunger hurts both body and soul - at the very least, it hurts the body physically, stunting it.

The only time hunger may be beneficial is if one is on a deliberate longevity diet - because eating kills.

I like my afternoons off. :)

Me, too. Relaxing between 12.00 P.M and 4.00 P.M. is one of my favourite pastimes. (When I can arrange it ;) )

IIRC - in Mexico, it's sort of a tradition.

My day was quiet - spent some time here, on and off, paperwork, some phone calls, and a quick visit to estimate a job, that worked out, so I have a busy day tomorrow. The wheel turns.

A girl said my hair looked like Justin Bieber's.... but she meant it as a compliment :scared: I needed a hug after that

How I the world can you play with everything like that? I know you're left handed but from your description that's still quite a bit different from how I've seen most left handed players play.

Today has been bad. I feel very sick and I said something so incredibly stupid to the girl I like and I feel like such an idiot. I never think before I speak and it will cost me big time one day.

I've still got it.... I met a nice young lady in a Ferrari California today. She was so nice and interesting we had a long conversation and I have no doubt could have exchanged numbers but I can't imagine my wife ever appreciating it. Lol

My day was great. I passed my road test today, despite screwing up the parallel parking bit because of being so nervous. So I just drove around for a little, and as soon as I picked up a friend, Bohemian Rhapsody came on. Of course, having an obsession with Wayne's World, we proceeded to turn it way up. I drove past a football game, and forced the attendees listen to Mercury's glorious voice. I felt like I accomplished a mission!

Great, worked out for an hour, worked after school, and when I got home my Dad had finished putting the bike back together after it seized. Apart from all of the oil (that he was cleaning the internal engine parts in), it's running nicely.

Award presentation at school tomorrow, and then the next day we're going to the track for practice. :)

Went really great, except at night time. I'm very disappointed in my brother, he was supposed to go with me to work like every Wednesday, and he didn't show up, didn't called, and didn't answer any of my text messages. He sent me a text hour later saying that he wasn't going to make it. I'm not mad, just disappointed.

Strangely enough, I'm not actually left handed. I'm about 90% right handed and 10% left. But when it comes to drums that goes out the window. It works for me too, in the 2 hours I've spent drumming over the last 2 days, I'm almost as good as my friend who has been playing drums for almost 2 years. I think I can play it like that because I haven't had any lessons or anything (and I don't plan to unless the way I'm drumming stops me being able to play something). I'm pretty much sorted with my arms, it's just my foot that needs taming, it's either doing nothing, barely anything, or too much. I pretty much described the bulk of my day now... DRUMS!!!!
