Meh, I haven't slept properly today until I fell asleep on the toilet about an hour ago. I spent all night watching movies.

Children of Men

End of Watch

Spending the rest of the day being tired and thinking about when I got rejected in which I should forget about that. (Hopefully...) (it hurts..)

Well, tomorrow its easter and my family once again pushed me to paint some easter eggs -I totally hate painting eggs, I'm horrible at it and it always takes too long.
So I grabbed a bunch of my old Lego bricks and built a crank-driven contraption that spins eggs, that way I could make 1 egg per minute and they look perfect. :sly:
I set up the gears that way that it spins them very fast. Totally saved the day.

I've been afflicted with a mysterious disease. It propagated with symptoms similar to the flu, but without fevers or inhibiting me physically. Thus, I'm sitting here, completely normal temperatured, with prickly skin, uncomfortable joints, and a throbbing headache. This sucks.

Not a bad song at all Slash.

Anyway, really frustrating day today.... well, the worst day of the year. Girlfriend went AWOL.... won't return calls, won't text back. Went to her house, she's not there.. so I don't get it. Yesterday we had fun at the beach. Hung out with our friends went back home together, then the next morning she's gone. Her stuff are still at my place, so she's not leaving me.... very confused and pissed off ATM

Apart from that fiasco, it seems that I am the only human being who can see the true potential of hybriding. I am the only one with realistic hybrids, appearantly.

Wow, that is genius!!! 👍

Started sanding down one of my guitars today. Almost done.

Nice! :D I would do similar, and perform some maintenance on the acoustic guitar I have at the moment... But it's actually my friend's guitar. And because I've never really done any maintenance on a guitar, and my ability to do things that involve fixing something or maintaining it is a bit on the dangerously dreadful side, I could easily do something wrong... I don't think my friend would appreciate me giving his guitar back to find it has 2 and a half strings, that are for a bass guitar rather than a guitar because that's all I could find. :p

Now, my day. My fingers are sore from too much guitar. They're still not calloussed or anything. So after a few hours they hurt. Usually less time than that if I'm doing bends. But I must say, over the last few months of guitar playing, my fingers are way stronger and I can bend far better now than I could 3 months ago. Just this morning I learned to play the intro to Iron Maiden's Wasted Years. Good way to practice alternate picking. I also started learning the rhythm guitar for Judas Be my Guide. And that's going well. So now I'm just going to install the mods for GTR2 that I just downloaded, and lay back and be lazy for the rest of the day. :D I love long weekends.

Well, I don't know if I've hit maximum level on my immune system, but all the sickness is gone. Today sucked, but looks like tomorrow's gonna be better.

Well yesterday did not go so well. They finally tore my old store down, dunno why I care but it's a little sad, plus I wanted to see them do it, but my old assistant manager said she just rolled by it on her way to class and it was already down. Other than that, I'm missing most of the skin on my thigh, don't really feel like going into how that happened.

That is awesome.

Yesterday was fun. It was warm and sunny so I was with friends. I went to the gym and pushed myself further. Then at night I had a campfire with my friend and we listened to music.

Today I will finally get to see my cousin again after about 2 months of not seeing him.

Yesterday was fairly awesome. Saw and filmed an Audi R8 GT Spyder on the road, at the same time a Ferrari 458 blew past. And, to make the day even better, they were selling cheese pretzels at just 9p each in Waitrose!

Tomorrow, I'm going to the British GT3 at Oulton Park Circuit. Should be a fun day, especially with a Zonda F Clubsport attending the Supercar Paddock.

Yeah I like it but like I said I wish it was just slightly heavier like the re-recordings of Prolwer and Charlotte the Harlot 8 years later. Also good luck with your GF, get things taken care of man.

Yeah I decided to do it after it fell into serious neglect when I got it back from someone I sold it to. It's almost done thanks to a hand sander and some elbow grease but there is still a little bit to do. Really though it's not too bad restoring it. I rather enjoyed what Ive done so far.

My fingers can get sore if my callousses start to peel like it did on my index finger the other day. From heavy abuse. Usually it isn't to bad but I get bored now before they hurt which is a good thing. Even the Maiden boys say 30 years later their fingers still hurt when playing. Keep it up though. My problem is now that my current guitars neck is too large for my hand so the joints hurt curling my fingers over. That will be fixed with the guitar I'm re-doing.For Wasted Years, that song, in it's enitrety is mad easy. I'd dare to say the intro is the hardest part except for maybe the second half of the solo. The entire song is insanely easy.

Judas Be My Guide's rythym ins't too bad but I play the lead parts. The intro isn't too tough and I usually just improvise the solo a tiny bit to put my own twist into it. The toughest parts for me is the alternate picking sections that are rapid in changes during the chorus. I can get it, just go to remember where to place my pickbefore I attempt it.
You'd be surprised just how easy Maiden tunes are. I can play bits and pieces of almost all their catalgue...most of it is just basic chords that get repeated in different patterns. Once you know the basic chords you can probably pick out any section and learn it by ear within minutes. That's how I learned most of them.

If you want to kow something interesting, try playing Losfer Words (Big Orra). That plays almost the same as Wasted years but different strings and slightly different picking. That was the first full Maiden song I learned. Fuin to play and really easy.Fear of the Dark is also another really easy one to learn.

Pretty good... woke up to the site of my girlfriend staring at me (a bit creepy, but reassuring. So Im happy) Her reason for leaving was she had to go get her parents; which she did. Yesterday she had left me a note in the kitchen saying she left, and she left me a text before she left saying she's getting her parents. I never saw either of the messages. I never bothered to look in the kitchen, and the text message was pushed down in my list by stupid commercials and offers from my service provider. She left for Chicago yesterday and came back this morning. So today, we're having a family dinner for Easter.

PS: Happy Easter Everybody!

My dad used to race in northern saloons that are racing might see you

(Awesome guitar makeover things and stuffs)

(Guitar playing with fingers and stuffs)

Yeah, I remember you saying something about that in the guitar thread (about the guitar makeover), and it's good to hear that all is going well.

Oh but do the Maiden boys always end the day with less skin on their fingers than they had in the morning? :p

(Iron Maiden song playability info and stuffs)

Well, for Judas Be My Guide's chorus. You have the first chord and then 3 notes of alternate picking, right? The 3 alternate notes are just open D string, aren't they? So shouldn't it be quite easy to find the note? And yeah, the rhythm isn't very difficult. I tried learning the solo at the start. And I've almost got it. But it was too much near the end, so I made slight modifications. Now I'm closer to playing it. But yeah, I have to agree that Maiden songs are actually easier than you would think for guitar. Thanks for pointing out some good ones to go for. Might try and get more of Wasted Years, and then Losfer Words (or as I think others would have noticed, Lost for words).

Today is good so far. Just got out of school and (not lying) I just seen a 75+ year old woman driving a riced out Toyota Celica. Reminds me of the time I seen an old woman blaring rap music with subwoofers while driving a Chevy Avalanche with giant spinning rims.

I still have to go to Columbus, IN, so me and my small family can have dinner with my grandma's brother and sister (who I didn't know existed)

Best day ever! My sister bought me a kazoo!!

Oh, and I worked at another gig, and did some music performance at school... But that's not important, because I got a kazoo. A good day in the end.

I can't be the only one not wanting to Google Kazoo to find out what the hell it is just in case it's rude, can I? Sounds like a musical instrument that one plays from the bum cheeks.

My day was good.

Woke up early. Stripped down my bicycle. Made lunch with dirty, greasy hands. Cleaned and oiled bicycle parts. Rebuilt bicycle. Went shopping for food and pop. I'm now planning which movie to watch with my dinner.

Tomorrow I have to meetings across the city so I get to see if I assembled my bike perfectly of if it'll drop a rim when I'm doing 50 down a hill through traffic. :D

 Yeah, you're half right. It's a musical instrument that one plays from the mouth, but it makes a sound similar to the noises that come from one's bum cheeks. It's one of those really annoying (usually plastic and used at little kid parties) things that you put your voice through and it makes a horrifically nasally noise. Great fun around easily angered teenagers...

Until they chase you. I hate running enough as it is, I had to run 100 meters today... Was ridiculous, and it turned out it wasn't even necessary.

It was fun. I went to a new indoor go kart track with my dad and cousin. The karts were the fastest I have ever been in, and I found the track to be difficult. The turns were really slippery. They place you by lap time, and in the first race I held 3rd for a while but got bumped back to 5/8. 2nd race I got 3/5, and even though it was a race for lap times, had a really good battle for track position with someone.

Not particularly good. Went to college to get informed that there isn't any class for the day so, effort spent for no reason right there. Came home sweating like hell because of the weather over here. Started to feel sick so I took some paracetamol tablets. Minutes later, really felt unwell in the head and the bowels. Took a crap which had me feeling much better. Growing headache's still there. It's like the pain is only in the right side of my brain. I really wanted to stick my hand in there and give it a good massage. It was that bad. Later, my condition got worse. Went in the toilet and threw up what's left of lunch. Headache became unbearable and I went straight to bed.

I'm very sure that all that stemmed from the fact that I don't get enough sleep. So, to anyone reading remember that sleep is very, very important.

^God I hate bad headaches. I have had chronic migraines since about age 6 and it's terrible. I have a headache now but luckily it's not bad. Does that happen to you a lot or was it just a one time thing?

None of the medicines I've ever been put on have worked but I just started a new one and (so far) it's working.

I'd type more but I hate typing on this phone!

Get well! :)

The only medicines that have really worked were really strong Aleve and Excedrin. Nothing else works. I usually only get them when I oversleep, force myself to oversleep, cough really hard for long periods of time, or the random one every so often.

I have to do prescription meds, but if I don't have access, I take either Aleve or ibuprofen.

I used to just take ibuprofen, but at the rate I get headaches, and the amount I have to take, my liver wouldn't live very long.

I don't know the names of the pills I take now, but one is an anti depressant, one is a high blood pressure pill, and one is for the headaches. Those are daily, but if I get a headache there are two other pills I take as needed. Oh, and I increase my headache pill dose today. It was nice only being on two pills daily, because in 2011-12 i took 8-10 daily. Oh well, if it helps me I guess it's worth it.

Dear God that would get annoying. 8-10 pills every day? EFF DAT

Not a lot, only when I don't get enough sleep it seems. Whenever that happens, all kinds of sickness gets to me, fever, sinusitis, headache. (I have a history of sinus problems too when I was younger). Well, I probably deserve it because I only get like 4-5 hours of sleep a day. Time is too precious to be spent sleeping. :sly:

And thanks! :)

I taught myself how to shift without a clutch and did so without harming anything so that's cool. Also, after getting home from work, the most perfect miata was parked next door. Black, OEM hardtop, lip spoiler, lowered a bit, and RPF1s. Beautiful

And then today... I had a day of annoying people with my new kazoo. Listened to the new Avantasia album (again) over the course of the day. And saw that Mercedes SLS again, only this time it parked 100 meters down the road by the nearby dairy. So I quickly ran up for a look. And I may have slightly had a fan fit. No, not really, only slightly. I'm pretty sure it was the same SLS I saw a month ago in Lower Hutt (because it was red... Intelligent logic :p). Why it was in Upper Hutt passing a school in a mediocre part of town, I don't know... Just to show off? Well, it worked. But yeah, now I'm home listening to the new Avantasia album (Again)... Again...
