I've got my iPhone. It's only purpose is as a weapon of blunt force because it's useless as a phone.

You've not thought about getting tooled up with a Nokia for when things get a little rough?

Yes.

OK, no - the blast radius would be difficult to avoid. Perhaps just the battery as a threat?

I've looked into buying one for when my iPhone is dead. £5 brand new. Not sure of the legality on them though.

If you buy the Nokia now it will silently and efficiently assassinate any other phones in your house - probably the street. There will be no sign of damage or a struggle. It's the communicational equivalent of an angry Chuck Norris.

Horrendous. This should sum it up:

The dinner was delicious though.

Wow my week has been... A bit different from the last few weeks.

Monday: Between the hours of 9:30 and 12.00 I was one of about 3 year 12 students at school, so I had free spells. In Singing lessons I sung a song almost perfectly after practising for about 20 minutes. :sly: Found out that I could import MIDI files to Garageband, therefore giving Garageband a use. I write songs in Guitar Pro, and then export a MIDI, import it to Garageband and use its more realistic sounding instruments. :D

Tuesday: Every chance I had I went into the music room to carry on working on sound levels and getting the MIDI to sound right in Garageband, and stayed after school to work on my Go Kart (I was meant to work with my friend who is also working on one, but he made an excuse to get out of it). I worked on it anyway. :D And then wasted time until Wednesday so I can go back to the Music Room. On Tuesday night I wrote a complete cover (rewrite) of Daniel Ingram's Becoming Popular, and created a MIDI to put even more pressure on me to get them done before the holidays start (today was the last day).

Wednesday: I worked on my music pieces and felt I had finished them so I put them through testing, I converted an MP3 and put it on my MP3 Player... Then found what needed correcting. Was meant to have band practice after school, but it had some faults which stopped it as the Go Kart situation. Same person too. Got home and worked on music pieces.

Today: After going a few minutes overtime I got my music pieces completed, followed by me cheering for myself in a moment of pure self love... Sort of freaky really. Realized my Graphics project was due today and didn't do it, but the teacher didn't explode like I had thought. So then I got home and realized I might be buying GTR2 off Amazon. :D So a good week for me. Oh, and I failed Group performance in Music because we couldn't get it in on time (today was the last day but I was the only person in the Group who was there that day, once again, the performance involved that one person who couldn't make the metal work catch up or the Band Practice.

Wow, my day's been good.

Today we got our results for the exams. Everybody was scared as 🤬 and so was I. Nothing really revolved around the lessons or the teachers, but only about that final lesson of the day when our results would be announced. The lesson befor that, art class, was an utter chaos. Nobody payed attention or worked on their projects. Everyone kind of went insane and started speculating wildly about his and others' results. Well, not everybody, me and my buddys were all chilled because we accepted the fact that we couldn't change anything about the results at this point anyway. Thus, we found ourselves sitting there in the middle of art class, everybody literally running around panicking, while we just plugged in our iPods and listened to some lounge music. :D
It was kind of like a scene in some creepy thriller where there's a catastrophe, people running around scared and screaming, with muted sound and a sad violin song playing atop, and the protagonist just standing amidst the chaos like paralyzed.
Afterwards, we were guided to our room and ordered to sit down, be quiet and wait for the teacher who'd tell us the results. Funnily, everybody actually did sit down and it also was rather quiet. Almost half an hour went without any teacher coming in. The awkward silence spread out around the room and soon everybody was doing some quiet work, for example homework.
Then, the moment had arrived. The teacher came in and started out by doing unrelated stuff, such as handing people sheets on various topics for the next lessons. Again, nobody gave a 🤬. Finally, he pulled out our exams and started talking about them. Dead silence. After some words on how we did and how he was disappointed especially about the results of the maths exam, he started handing out the result sheets. Some people started crying, while me and my mates sat in "our" corner of the room chatting and emphasizing how we didn't give a 🤬 about our results because we think what matters is that we did our best.
Luckily, our results were decent to good, so we went out of the room with smiles on our faces. :)

tl;dr: Exam results day: people went crazy, was fun to see, and I'm happy and statisfied about my results.

See you around,

Oversaw and took part in the orientation rehearsals by the English club (didn't actually attend it though :guilty:).

Afterwards, a few hours of GT5, followed by jogging. Finally about to get an Xperia S so I can get rid of this relatively obsolete iPhone of mine 👍

It was an average day at work, but then I came across a rather different looking drill bit. (I work at a factory that makes drill bits for varied usage) Asking a co-worker to help me figure out how to measure it correctly (still feeling rather new to the job after a week) and after figuring it out he told me something interesting about the certain drill bit I was measuring. It turned out to be part of a bone saw for a hospital in Florida, telling me it was something that could possibly save someone's life. Gave a good feeling throughout the rest of the shift, knowing that this new job is doing good out there. :) Compared to working at a restaurant feeding the hungry and not the starving... Really don't miss cleaning dishes when people would put gum, beer, and leftovers that looked a lot more like vomit on them. Overall, a nice day.

Now for some random stuff about an annoying soda machine. This morning, I went to it to go get a can of soda. Sound hard? Well, I inserted my a quarter and it didn't seem to notice it, I inserted another quarter and it went straight back to the coin return, multiple times. I think I put in 3 or 4 until it finally worked, until when I finally got it to work, it gave me two cans. Later, the machine worked fine on my first try. I tried again again later, and I think I inserted one or two quarters, and it did the same thing as the first time around again. When it gave me the can, I think I may have ended up paying less than I should have. I'm not sure. Soda machine that doesn't work, send it to the moon.

Had a few friends over for a small LAN/Split-screen gaming-shindig. Had 8-Player Halo, MW2 and Minecraft on two Xboxes :P

Then two of my friends took turns playing through Journey. Both of them want a PS3 now...

Absolute rubbish. Woke up grumpy and maintained it throughout the day. I hate China, the people in it and everyone else for that matter. Couldn't be more P'd off if I tried. :grumpy:

My day was going well until my boss asked me to come in to work for an hour. Great, a two hour and fifteen minute round trip for one hour of pay. As the wife is out tonight, I was planning on having a few beers and playing some New Vegas.

Bored. I took my grandma to a clinic appointment. I was going to be the interpreter, but the clinic already had an interpreter ready, I was bored for about an hour in the waiting room - wish I had my cell phone (I have lots of Pokemon cartoons on it)

Did absolutely nothing today. Been home all day behind the computer bored out of my mind. You really feel like crap when your home all day and get no sunshine. I can't leave the house either, moms out of town and dads at work so I have to baby sit. Was planning on going to the gym today. By the looks of things tomorrow is going to be a repeat.

This :grumpy:

Drove back home from college for the weekend and it was stop and go traffic all the way home because somehow Georgia drivers managed to gridlock every single highway around ATL by wrecking. A bunch of cars also overheated, but not mine! :D

Now I'm getting a nice home-cooked meal and going to see an old friend later tonight who just came back from his maritime academy thing.

It was a good day! Started at 5:55am when my daughter woke up. Played with the kids, play soccer with my older son At 11am I did my work-out, followed by 5miles of running. Of course I played GT5 and BF3 during the kid's day sleep.
