RossYeah, my metabolism is very high and I burn up most of the sugar before my body has a chance to store it so all is good.
I have a high metabolism too and I've found it very beneficial to reduce my glucose intake and instead eat more protein (meat, nuts, eggs). You feel full for far longer and generally have more energy with this type of diet.
Sugar is sometimes necessary nonetheless, especially when you are doing a lot of physical activity or in a hot climate.
