Very nerve racking, our group had to give a presentation to the Vice chancellor of the university (And some other important people) in order to obtain our funding for our Formula Student team. Naturally, I screwed up my bit :ouch: tried to get too many words in. But the other parts of the presentation went well :)

They were very intimidating :lol:

The Altima needs a new front bumper and grill and it needs to be repainted in the front..I hope that's it.

After what all happened yesterday and last night, today has seemed like a breeze compared to it. Little to no complications.

My day has been pretty good so far. I've actually got things done for a change. I've hoovered, done the dishes as well as the washing. I've also bought a christmas tree. :)

Went to hard rock (in tampa) today for a company party, met some great people, made new friends, etc.

Broke even on progressive slots.

Got to drive my dad's Altima to and from hard rock (the V6 one..yay!)




SUDDENLY!


Drunk driver pulls out from an intersection and I slam the brakes and try to avoid. It didn't work.

my day was helping my friend using Microsoft frontpage For Our projects for our teacher tomorrow

it got 5 marks

Pretty good day today. My wife had a fantastic meal ready when I got home and there were seven new cars waiting for me to download. 👍
 
I'm as sick as a dog thanks to the flu and food poisoning.

On the plus side I got my Xmas work gift which comprised of peanut butter, chocolate chip cookies, coffee, jelly beans and so random Chinese fruits. I'll eat the PB and cookies and leave the rest for my students.

I've sneezed about 37 times and it's just turned 11am so lots of nasty germs floating around the office for someone else to catch.

Looks like Xmas will be spent complaining about my nose running while trying to drink as much vodka as possible without throwing up.

We've got a speciality drink which consists of Baijui (Chinese spirit) pineapple juice and Ginjui (Chinese medicinal whiskey/brandy) and that's about it. Tastes like filth but gets the job done.

I'll probably not venture far from the beers or Smirnoff Blue Label on the day because that's all I really need.

Edit: Last year we experimented with C. Morgan's and Lithium. Not the best combination. One friend put his hand through our window and another tried to BBQ our Xmas tree. :rolleyes:

But he's got to pay the damage to your car right? I posted mine about a month ago and the drunken ass:censored: who hit our car have to pay a large sum of money just to get my car fixed, not counting another 2 cars he hit at the same time. Lucky I wasn't in the car that time because I was shopping and the car was on the parking lot and that to the parking management who got all the details for me.

Have you made a police report yet? I made mine and now the drunken ass:censored: is in yet more big trouble. As long as the car is fixable, I think it should all be good mate ;)

My day, well this morning I was with my friends playing badminton. That's 2 years after my last try and after 20 minutes of playing I got tired. We went to breakfast together and after minutes later my body felt wird. It started to get hurt especially around my leg and hands. Then I realised I didn't warm up my body before I start playing. How dumbo me :lol:

So far it's good, I just need a rest and a bit of massage.
 
It's been a busy day, despite being on school "break." Time just flies by too fast.

What school are you? I assume your team will be competing at Silverstone (from your Union Jack); are you competing in any other competitions (Germany, Austria, Detroit, etc.)?

Sunderland University team :) Yes we will be competing at Silverstone, but we are a relatively small team so that will be the only place we compete. I didn't even know we could compete elsewhere (I know FSAE rules are the same but I thought the competitions were seperate). How about you?

The team did well last year, apart from the engine seizing up during the endurance (And getting the award for most cones knocked over) :lol: But this year we have a whole new team as every member from last year has left, so we've lost a bit of momentum.

I'm bored. Got back from the dentist. Left side of my mouth is numb and I can't eat anything for another hour.
 
This day f:censored:ing sucks. So, had 2 tests at school today, aced them. So, you'd think today would be a good day? Hell no. Get home, and the day turns to downright bull:censored:. Argue about getting little sister off the bus, then finally give in, said I'd do it, then get told no. No? Are you kidding me? Then why did you want me to do it in the first place? It's freaking ridiculous.
 
Good. Got LFS S2, and spent the day on a City Driving server. Found out that my Internet is now 4 times faster, and downloaded 2.02 and had a blast in the GT-86. Epic. :D

What university are you with?

:lol: We have a qualified welder in our team who has offered to help out with anyone who wants to learn. I doubt i'll be doing any of the welding on the car, but it would be good to get some practice for the future 👍

We're given a certain amount of funds (Reduced from last year due to government cuts to education, budget reduction for the university means a budget reduction for us too). It's certainly not given lightly either, we took a good grilling in the boardroom but we have some cool heads in our team that got us through it. In a way it's bad because it discourages us to look for sponsors, but we do have a couple of sponsorship partners already I believe.

Last day of "work" for the year. Get to spend some time with my kids until Jan 9th.

What a boring day... Really. Been staying home and today I can't do anything because it's all been raining since the morning. No fun :grumpy:

I just hope tomorrow will be better.
 
Very interesting day!

Had a brand new Sony product in my hand this afternoon which is being launched early next year.

Can't say any more than that, but it was interesting and impressive!:)

Pics or it didn't happen :p. Just kidding, that sounds cool.

My day has went ok so far, expect it to not go as well when I get home, but oh well, life isn't meant to be easy.
