Well today is okay. Worse than some and better than others. Got home from work at 5 am, slept until 1030. My wife and I decided that we should buy each other new wedding bands for v day, so I have her rings to her and she gave me mine. Was scheduled to be off work today but at 130 I got a call telling me that freight was heavy today and they need me to come in (I drive a semi truck) laid down and was about to fall asleep when my wife came in and told me FedEx was at our door and I need to answer it since she doesn't have her makeup on lol turns out it was my G27 wheel that I wasn't expecting until tomorrow. :D open the box, inspected everything then put it back in the box until my obutto cockpit gets here tomorrow.

Got to work, hooked up to my trailer and am pleased to find out my trailer tandems won't slide. 45 minutes at the shop and I'm on my way on my 300 mile round trip. 3 stops on this trailer and I only have 9 hrs on my 70 hour work week left. Hopefully I can make it back home because I'm definitely off tomorrow then I work Saturday and start my 1 week vacation Sunday.

So here I am. At my first stop getting unloaded with a long night ahead of me and running on hardly any sleep. At least tomorrow I'll be assembling my cockpit and racing. Sorry for the long post. I'm bored :p

Quick recap on the last two days. Would have done that yesterday but the internet was down.

Thursday was Valentine's day and in the morning I was very certain that I'd have a valentine this year, but then the rest of the day went horribly wrong and I got into a frustrating argument with that person. So yeah, Thursday was kind of awful.

Yesterday was much better though, as it was the last day of school before a week off. We watched a movie, had breakfast together and then attended our annual Teachers vs. Students volleyball game. Sadly, the teachers won. But during that game I spent some time with just the girl I had that terrible argument with, we came to terms with each other and I'm seeing her next week. Later that day she also hinted that she could be a bit in love with me, but I don't want to jump to conclusions just yet. In any case, all the faults of Thursday were rectified on Friday. :)

Yesterday was fun. If anyone is in marching band or drum line, well you will understand why this is a big deal. Yesterday at drum line practice we re-learned all of our drill and other visual things yesterday, the day before a competition, because the judges didn't like it last week. That is a lot.

So today I have a competition and then after I finally get to go up north.

I had a hilarious time playing GT5 online. I went into a room, where an angry cockney kept swearing down the microphone after he LOST EVERY RACE. I then proceeded to come second in a half hour race at Cape Ring in my trusty Honda Integra Type R, some guy in a hybrid GTR won. :ouch: The thing that made it particularly funny was that some jerk in a S2000 rammed me off on the second lap, only to wear his tyres out towards the end and be forced to watch me sailing by... I overtook him cleanly as well, just to add insult to injury.

I wish there were more rooms with a decent number of people in, I think too many people just go online and start their own room, only for no one to join.

Day is just starting... should be a peaceful day... :)

But tomorrow... there's a high probability that tomorrow will be a complete and absolute mess...

What does Today look like with this new haircut? Does it look as good in a mullet as Yesterday?

Yesterday it was the "100 days 'till the first exam" day (lol we have a single word for it). Don't know if in other countries you have such thing but basically 11th year students make a show with various challenges for 12th graders (us). It was really good, this year's theme was the oldtown. After that we went to the afterparty 40km from the city, it was pretty much your average party. Around 4 in the morning those 5 of us who didn't go to sleep started a mental russian hard-bass dance. It was so stupid that it was hilarious, it feels like a complete drug addict attempting to do a raindance. Though after the amount of alcohol we consumed, it stopped being relevant. Overall it was the most fun I had in a long time. The only part that wasn't fun was the next morning.

Work was good, nobody else in salad bar so it was nice and relaxing.
But the drive home, Canadian drivers are the WORST.
I went to pass a guy, waited until there was a stretch of clear road and then signaled, and pulled out. When I get the the rear fender of this minivan, it moves a bit to the left, and then brakes a bit.
What.
The.
Hell.

I had to put 2 wheels off the road and stop the truck from getting out of shape, could've ended up in the ditch if he had gone over more.

If he did it on purpose, then he can rot in hell.
If it was by accident, then he should return his drivers license for not having the simple skill of STAYING IN THE CORRECT LANE.

So far my day has been good went down the park with my mates for the first time in weeks which was great fun now just relaxing playing GT5.

..Well, yesterday. I was at the Chicago Auto Show. I went to the GT5 cockpits where you can test out the new C7 Stingray with the Thrust master wheel. When it was my turn I wasn't allowed to changed anything :grumpy: (automatic with all assist on :ouch:) . I was forced to give a lap time in High Speed Ring within 3 minutes of play time.

First lap warm up and second lap going for it. I fishtailed and some how got 4th overall. I was surprised, and yes my first name is Sergio.

Anyway, at home today, I tried the same settings and everything with my DFGT. I could only do like 1.890 with like 8 laps of practice?! Then I took off all assist later and got 1.695 easily. I'm confused. I don't know what tires I used at the event but at home I used Racing softs.

Well another day of hiding from everything like the little weirdo I am... :p The past week or so, whenever I've been home, all I do is hide from everyone else because my mind is in some weird place where I just can't deflect the things they're saying. In other words, I'm being overly pathetic and annoying and probably just over dramatizing situations in my head and thinking that everyone is against me. All I want to do is be able to do what I want to, without being compared with someone else, judged or criticized.

Normally things people say take no effect on me because I know it's not true. But the last few days, not so much. Today I stayed in my room as long as possible, only leaving for food, and the bathroom. I don't want to be greeted by the faces of my own family, because I don't think the greeting will be pleasant. And yes, most of you probably are most likely thinking, "oh for pete's sake! Grow a pair and get a life," and you're completely right... I just can't really build up the face to go on looking strong at the moment. :(

Monday is a holiday - 'Family Day' and everybody stays home. This makes it a long weekend. So extra long sleeps and hanging out trying to choose from a hundred things to do.

My day has been good. I went to the park at around 9:20am this morning started with 2 of us called for two other people one was at rugby the other said 30mins. So me and my friend joked behind is back saying that he means 1hr and 30mins since he's always much later than he says he will be. then 30mins later to our suprise, he came pretty much on time so then, we decided to play football and some other games like usual.

At around 12:00pm we went back home and within 2 minutes of being home, 2 of my other mates turned up at my door. So, we went down the park and I text my friend to say that we were down the park. Not too long later, the friend that was with us earlier came back out. Then just before 1:00pm our friend that was at rugby got home and joined us. So then we decided to play some games as we couldn't play football as there were people in the park.

Later on, to finish down the park we decided to have a massive football match and play some games after. Our team won the football match but, it was very challenging and the teams were nearly completely even. After the match we had a rest then played some other games but, since someone we didn't like entered the park and we were tired we went home.

When I got home, I went on youtube and found out that a really good youtuber had closed his channel due to another youtuber.:( After that I did some homework and now I'm playing the PS3. Yeah it was a very long day.

Good really. Slept in a bit, then went out and did some slacklining with a friend in a local park, which involved walking on a taut bit of material between two trees. My balance is poor, so needless to say I was useless

Followed that with some half marathon training, 11 miles at 8.2mph, hoping to run a 1:40 in the real thing in two weeks. All my training is hilly, and Bath's half marathon is super flat, so should accomplish that, though I'm ruining my left foot, it hates running.

Chilled in what remained of the day. Nice end to the weekend.

Ok, but you know how they say never to drive your hero's, because they won't be as good as you remembered them?

Well I played Test Drive 6 after all these years and it is one of the worst game's I've ever played. :(
I loved that game...

Edit:
I think I'm a bit insane now...
I've spent the last 20 minutes researching physics calculations for trajectories, because I want to jump my bike about 50 feet. Thing is, the jump would be over a gap in the trail where there used to be an old railway bridge.
What makes it worse is that my bike has really bad suspension, so I would have to take it at over 45mph. :scared:

But it would be TOTALLY awesome.

I just have to remove the offending file. Was told at work I can transfer it to USB drive, bring it to work, change the title & info, then take it back home and they won't know? Not sure. It's just a song I downloaded to use for GT5 menu music, so if I have to delete it from my computer it's not a big deal. I still have it on the PS3. :D

Today was a good day. Bought a crash helmet and booked my CBT, really looking forward to getting on the road in a few weeks!

Irritating. Turns out my foot is so wounded I can't run on it until next Wednesday, with the half marathon that weekend.

No more training for me :grumpy:
