Boooo-ring!

Not much to do. Can't watch tv. It's too cold outside and snowing. Can't play race games.

The past week has been utter crap. My gf went to a leadership trip up north for the past week and I went to school without her. You really get to know what you've got until its gone... all I did was homework... :$

EDIT: Looks like its affected my blood pressure too.... 155/85...

AWW! I missed it... :(

Yeah, there have been a couple years where I wasn't able to get down there... I feel for you! With any luck most of the wares on display will hit the roads in appreciable numbers over the next few months. :)

Well, I went out to get a new iPod Touch. For some stupid reason, they don't sell cases for the newest gen iPod Touch at the Apple Store so I had to go elsewhere and I ended up buying the wrong case. Runs pretty damn fast though.

The cons of travelling... I wont be back in Toronto until June :(

Work was good.
But I was arguing with this guy at my friends house for an hour about cars.
He drives a WRX, and was SO bad in Forza 4. And then he blamed the physics and stuff, but he wasn't even braking. We were all playing the newest DiRT and he said that it had better drift physics than FM4.

...

You could drift in little circles with out touching the steering in DiRT, at least in Forza you have to steer. And to make matter worse, he said that AWD is harder to drift in. :odd:

I should've known though, he didn't even know how to adjust a diff properly.

Pretty good day today. I was supposed to go to a meeting or something at the mall today and decided not to go and there was a shooting in the spot I was supposed to be in. So I guess I'm pretty lucky? I haven't heard many details about it, so I don't know if there were any deaths/injuries.

Good. Had a snow day so I hung out with a friend I hadn't for a while. We built an igloo. It was good. Then I was with some other friends. I love my friends so much. Especially my friend I'm starting a band with. my
He's the best friend I've had and we agree on everything. We walked today and talked about really good stuff that we both needed to say.

I got pissed off at the local station, because they prioritized a basketball game over switching over to national t.v., thus making it so that I could not watch one of my favorite shows.

Auditioned for a VA role, they needed a low voiced person to speak with an Arabian accent, so hopefully I'll get the job. :D

Found out my dad's Mercury XR7 is worth A LOT more than I thought... I have mixed feelings about that.

Went to the movies with my gf; watched Lincoln (apparently, we have to write an essay about it).

This happened yesterday but I couldn't find the thread. I bought some fake Dr. Dre beats from China maybe two weeks ago and they finally came in the mail today. I was pretty worried since they looked pretty nice in the picture but how good could the sound really be? According to the specs they are actuakkg the same as real beats too but again China isn't known to tell the truth either they showed up and the box alone was worth the price. Looks so nice for a fake product. It's really the same box that the beats come in only not lol. Opened them up and seemed cheap yet nicer than I would of thought. They sound way better than I was expecting which is the best part. I primarily bought then for their looks but good sound means I can actualky use them too. Best/funniest part is they smell exactly like a brand new leather couch. Go into a leather store and smell the couch that's what these smell like. So far I'm pretty happy with them.

Well... Today I can sum up with three letters... SLS.

The Mercedes SLS has always been that car that I could only ever fantasize about even just seeing in real life, as around where I live there aren't many rich people, let alone ones with good car taste. But today, I went to Lower Hutt, which is the next town along for Work experience. I'll talk about all that first.

I got to school, and I could still see the moon slowly falling slowly towards the hills... Which was cool, because I like the moon. I wasn't in uniform, because today I had Work experience in Gateway. Gateway is a class at school where they find you a place to work at (based on your work interests), and try and find a place to get you working one day a week. The school found Secret Level in Lower Hutt, a youth center that has a recording studio, and a small indoor stage, like a sort of pub-like venue, but without the booze (seems legit). So I was there for working today, and had some good fun, as I was there with my friend. And in the break, we went to Rockshop, which was just around the corner... Where I spent most of the time drooling at the acoustic guitars there. :drooling: I want between $700 and $1200 now... ... I need a job... But anyway, I also looked at some bass guitars, some recording gear and found out that 8 string guitars exist.

But on the way out, I stood out of the shop, and then I saw a red Mercedes SLS... For about 2-4 seconds. And for anyone who isn't really aware... The Mercedes SLS, has been my dream car since about early 2011... And I had never seen one before, and I was under the impression that I never would, because I've only ever seen them for sale on the internet in Auckland... Call me pathetic, but all I could say was, "GAAASP, Oh my god, I just saw an SLS!" And it annoyed my friend very quickly... Because for the entire walk back to work, and for about the first few minutes when we got there... I still couldn't shut up about it... It was prolonged because it was fun driving him insane with it, but I admit... I did overreact to seeing it, I was like an American on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, but not quite as screechy and loud. And looking backwards I realize that it was really pathetic, because I saw a car for just a few seconds... But still, it was so awesome, I really can't just put it in words on how pathetic I was and how cool it was to see.

Could have been worse I guess, at least I didn't cry tears of happiness... Just a burst of excitement. A long burst of excitement.

And then I came home and found out that a song off of the new Avantasia album was released... And had another massive fan fit. So today all up, has been a super duper awesome and great day. Music work stuff, Mercedes SLS and new Avantasia... And then not a single thought or anything was given... By anyone... ... EVER!!!

My day has started out fantastic.

Fired up my email this morning at work to find no less than 3 harsh emails from both of my bosses about a part I listed on our website yesterday having an "incorrect price". Yeah, turns out they confused the part with another one and the price was in fact correct in the first place.

Satisfaction when they realize they are wrong...priceless.

Extremely long.

8 hours of train journey, all for a Uni interview. Though they offered me a place, so totally worth it!

Extremely long.
Same here. Fourth, and last, day at Disney World was 14 hours...

On the plus side, in two years the kids went from "There's no way I'm going on Space Mountain again" to "I want to go again!" :D

Eventfull...was biking today (cycling) and a RICER cut me off- almost hit me actually- but I was very satisfied to see the same RICER stuck in a traffic jam. I turned around (on top of my bike) sat on the handle-bars and started pedaling backwards whilst holding two middle fingers up...I regret that decision, as I ended up hitting a police cruiser shortly after -while attempting to turn around and ride the bike the way it's supposed to.

$15 fine issued on the spot.

Fantastic stuff! 👍

Yesterday was 14 hours of work for a presentation early this morning followed by an event we're hosting for a client - so, it was up at 5:00am followed by loads of stress and pretending to like people followed by a late dinner with my wife at 10:00pm.

I've had better days... :indiff:

Do you organise events as your job?

I organise conferences & events, I just got the go ahead today to attend Meedex at the Louvre in Paris early April so I'm going there.

Other than that I'm really busy today, just taking a lunch break now but I'm organising 80 odd training courses in London for a big client.

I haven't posted here in a while...

A lot has been happening the past two weeks, and it's just fantastic. In our one week break from school I started dating a girl, which went extremely well, I got lots of chores done, and I discovered lots of new, awesome music. Somehow my whole life has changed, yet I'm still me and enjoying it, and I'm really glad about that. :)

Today was a good day as well, basically similar to every single other day lately. School was surprisingly fun and not annoying, though everybody seems a bit p'd off lately. For example, I just wanted to tell the girl I'm sitting next to in Maths something petty, to cheer her up after the test, but she just completely snapped. Everybody told me to ignore that, though, so I did. I find that funny, actually, because I'm quite sure failing the test was solely her fault, so there's no reason to vent her anger on others.
