Meh, didn't get the job I applied for. Oh well.

Are you kidding me? That sucks. They don't know that they missed on a great opportunity for having a skilled technician.

My day was awesome, I arrived in Orlando today. Our flight was at 5:30 am. And yesterday morning, I arrived from Argentina. So I basically had back to back traveling. But hey, we're staying in the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Orlando, so I'm happy :D

It was just a tire shop, that's all. Nothing but changing tires all day everyday lol. That's ok, I'll just find some place better to work were I can put all my skills to use.

Pretty good day. Spent most of it alone, which is how I wanted it. Did see my friends for a couple hours though. Took 3 bike rides and a walk.

Tonight had been angering me. I'm playing motorstorm apocalypse and stupid thinga keep happening. Like I was about to win a race, then my controller shut off. Also, I was about to win a trophy for something I did online but the game was disbanded. I know it's a game but this stuff really is pissing me off.

My brother was diagnosed with schizophrenia. My family is basically turned upside down and going for the worst. I don't know if I can cope with a lot of this.

Pics or bs! :sly:

I've only just seen this, but...

Well, having tried something similar (just a friend of mine), I can tell you that getting that diagnosis isn't really the end of the world. It's a good thing to talk about it, too.
There's also many different types of schizophrenia, so your brother might not have the most severe 👍.

You got a haircut :D?!

My day was as usual, so nothing special to report :p.

2nd race event riding the 600.

Driving there Dad and I saw a bunny, so that was good.
Finished 6th-8th in Novice, and won the Rookie heat race, flag to flag. :D

Was riding a lot faster this weekend, finally had the rear end slide out under acceleration, the rear tire looks just about done though.

And it was awesome to find out that Bridgestone has a contingency program for Rookie, so winning a race you money towards tires. 2 wins is equal to a set.

Hopefully tomorrow we can win the Rookie final. And it's supposed to rain, so we might do better in Novice as well.

Pretty awesome. I went to a car show at Greenfield Village (which is part of the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan near the Ford world HQ). I saw about 7 Plymouth Superbirds, which was awesome because I love the car. Have only seen like 2 or 3 in person and got to see it in colors I hadn't before. Also saw some cool German cars. Of course, lots of Mustangs and Camaros, but not enough mopar in general, really. But it was a great day aside from 15 minutes of light rain. I also got to meet another of my cousin's friends, and she was really cool.

It's 5:30AM. I've been doing nothing but browsing Neogaf and listening to Los Campesinos. My life is such a waste.

I guess I'll go to sleep after I'm done with this playlist.

It was ok. My sister arrived back from seeing her boyfriend in Boston today, so me and my mom went to go pick her up from the airport. After that, the three of us all went out to do something so that my dad could do what he wanted for father's day. I then found out that my uncle on my mother's side is the Executive Director for the Chicago Shakespeare Theater, and got extremely pissed off at him, more than normal actually.

Bought some cheap shirts today. One says:

"Some people just need a high-five. In the face." :D

Just finished my workout. Nice to be running again after my back problems months ago.

today i watched the 2 matches of the FIFA confederations cup and tried to.study a little...
i'm such a good "procastinator"

For some reason, I spent most of the day sleeping or feeling sleepy. Find it kind of strange. Slept my 8 hours during the night, went to work (5:00 in the morning to 9:00 in the morning), cooked some Teriyaki (between 10:00am and 11:00am). Slept from 12:00 until 6:00pm, woke up feeling sleepy, took a shower - took a quick nap (7:00pm to 8:00pm), got dressed, and for some unknown reason I still felt sleepy - even having a snicker bar (a quick sugar rush hoping to keep me awake) didn't help. Went to work again at 9:00pm to around 10:30pm came back and all that sleepy feeling is gone..... I guess I'm turning nocturnal. I have trouble staying awake in the mornings and days but not at nights.

Same. Except I've been spending my morning on GTP and sleeping. You couldn't tell I have an exam tomorrow :-/

I also fell face first into my bathtub…

^ The Shift key and a period or two would go a long way to making that actually readable. ;)

It only rained in the morning, and we decided to enter another class on Sunday. (Bridgetone Cup, the entry fee was very small, and if you did well you got free tires.)

We did ok in Novice, 8th I think, but the rear tire was worn down to nothing, so we put a new set on for the next 2 races.

Had to start at the back in Bridgestone Cup, but picked people up to finish 2nd. (1 free set of tires, yay.)

Started on pole for Rookie, and led flag to flag again. Some scary moments with backmarkers, but it worked itself out.

So far I'm not doing what I'm supposed to. I woke up with a nasty headache and laid down on the couch for a planned 30 minutes, but woke up three hours later. Now I feel terrible that I wasted half the day because I have a ton of work to get done. What happened to the good ol' days where you could waste away the day and not feel bad about it? Ah to be a kid again....

Horrible.

Boss offered me the chance to work from home. Nice, yes. But the reason why is not ok with me.

To top it off, I've had THREE flat tires on my bicycle in less than a week. Had to walk home tonight and this one can't be fixed, so I need my mother to bring me a new tube before work.

UGH.

Think I just lost one of my best friends, but they won't tell me what's up. I may have gotten them in trouble, but certainly didn't mean to, I just accidentally made them late for work. They just fell off the grid a few weeks ago and won't return my calls or anything. I hate that, it's like just talk to me, you don't have to go cold shouldering me because now I'm worried and wondering what's up.

Well it could have been better so far, I had to get up at 3:00am this morning to give my sister and her husband a lift to Gatwick airport for their honeymoon. It wouldn't have been so bad if I got some sleep. So could I get some sleep? Could I ****.

So I had to do a 5 hour 240 mile trip on 90 minutes light sleep, whilst feeling pretty dodgy. I got back and had a quick power nap and woke up to an email saying I hadn't got the job I had applied for.
I was perfectly suited to it, I had the necessary experience and I thought the interview went pretty well. Obviously not.

Last exam this morning. So that was an okay start.

Just spent the rest playing GT5, dealing with 12 year olds, getting annoyed with people calling me a kid. The usual… and had a bacon and cheese pasta meal from the shop. That wasn't bad.

Just woke up about 45 minutes ago. Pretty uneventful so far

Weather is cloudy outside, my allergies are terrible, so I hope I'm not miserable.

As far as yesterday, I pretty much sealed the deal on a '76 Mach 1, clean as hell, for $2,000 and it comes with a door, hood in primer (2 hoods actually), and possibly a 351W motor =P

Sorry for judging, but I didn't take you for a Mustang II sort of guy. I always kinda liked them, even the goofy looking Cobra II. They can be quite a performer if the pockets are deep.

Here we go...

Getting up at 3:00am really makes for a long day. Compound in waiting for an important message about a house I'm buying and that makes it feel that much longer.

I used to be a hater until I got a ride in my friends Cobra II. After that I sat down and really looked them over and I don't think they are that bad. They turn a lot of heads. You'd be surprised, it is actually a pretty cheap car to turn into a good performer :p

Obviously I would absolutely LOVE to have a '69 or '70 over a II but still.
