I'm not sure you're a qualified doctor, but it's worth a shot.

...or a chaser, whatever you want to call it. :dopey:

Sitting around, thinking and listening to the end of 'Play' Moby's album.

Pretty good day though. I got done with my photography class, I have a few things to do for school, sign up for classes, ect. Then I have to do a job application and a few other things. Other than that. Just the usual after school, relaxation and reflection.

Well, my father is back home after being in the hospital for almost 6 months. He still needs a lot of physiotherapy. We still have to go three days a week to the hospital to get physiotherapy.

I hope he gets better and is able to stay home this time.

All in all, a very good day!

Had my last final. Seemed to go well except I for got a few dates on my essay portion. The rest of the day has just been chilling listening to my headphones. Going to Sanfrancisco soon so nothing but good (hopefully) for now on.

I love the vibes from this song.

I had a great day. Spent half of it with my mom in which we ate lunch together at a restaurant, we watched a movie at the theatre afterwards. And when we arrived home I gave my other bike a wash after hitting the trails 3 days ago in which it got muddy really quick.

Mothers Day.

So today will be devoted to some ritual of appreciation. Siblings/children have arranged suitable swarmings and I have to join the fun soon.

I don't mind it. Mothers have a special place in my heart - so Happy Mothers Day all you mothers out there.

Work had random drug tests today and I was selected. So I had to do my business into a cup and give it to a woman so she could put a stick in it. And I had to ask when I had the chance... How on earth does anyone end up in a job of taking urine samples for drug testing? The answer was that "it sort of just happens." And then that was over with and I got through with the expected results, in other words my dad isn't shouting at me and firing me.

I watched a very fun to watch NEO GT series opener that was in iRacing that was streamed on Youtube. Matt Orr (aka Empty Box) was everyone's favorite, he got up as high as 10th (from qualifying in 29th of 54 cars) until he was taken out by his teammate. :grumpy:

Then earlier in S.N.A.I.L. I had fairly decent results. Was going to win a race until I missed my braking point and ended up finishing somewhere in the middle.

I had my first Big Mac in years today. I gave up eating beef almost a year ago and this is the first time I've eaten it. It was delicious.

It is now ~37 degrees outside so I'm confined to my room with the aircon on until it cools down and/or starts raining and I can go outside without developing skin cancer in a matter or hours.

Preparing for a 12 hour bus journey through jungle into another country to get some paperwork filled out.

I'm sure most people would enjoy the opportunity but I'm not looking forward to it.

4 bloody days of politics. :grumpy: I'd rather be at work.

Had my first shift at my new job today, as a parking lot attendant at a hotel, and I think I may have found the easiest job in the world.

I work the graveyard shift from 11pm till 7am. During that time, I get 3-4 cars to park, which if I really take my time is about 30 minutes worth of work. Then I have to fill out some paperwork, which at most takes me an hour.

So overall I do actual work for 1.5-2 hours, and the other 6 hours I sit in the backroom and watch football.
And I get paid $12/hr for this. Everything's all right.

I was having a great day, until about 20 minutes ago, when the new federal budget was handed down. Cuts to education spending and an increase to the pension age will make it harder for me to get a job. Cuts to unemployment benefits and increases in our version of student loans mean more money going out, and less money coming in. And I'm already on an extremely tight budget.

But it's not all bad news. The government get to say they delivered on an election promise.

Had an encounter with some uncivilized 🤬 🤬 a la Straw Dogs.

My dad was being rational and told me it's not worth getting into trouble with these, these...

I just caught that on the news. Tough break.
It's a bitter pill to swallow, which is not made any easier by the way the government has seized every opportunity to tell the public how bad the previous government was. The net effect - and I'm not the only one thinking this - is that the tough budget comes across as the government trying to deliver an election promise rather than deliver a budget that is in the national interest.

Interesting days for me. Yesterday someone pooped themselves onsite, and my brother had to take him to the toilet. And today, I went to work with my brother, so that was good. I could sleep an extra hour and get into work at pretty much the same time anyway. And we got rained off at about 1:30, and when I got home the alarm was having issues and kept beeping. And then the big alarm went off too for about 10 minutes until my brother found out it was actually his van's alarm. Today's been bad with alarms. :p But a day made brilliant still for one reason... MY EDGUY ALBUM HAS FINALLY BEEN DESPATCHED!!! I've been waiting for almost a month since it released and it's been on backorder. But it's finally on its way; to my house; so I can listen to it; and then read a booklet; then listen to it again, and again, and then I'll get bored and go onto something else for awhile, and listen to it again.

Spent the day in the college side of town...

So.
Many.
Yoga.

I waited 2 months to get internet in my new place, only to find out I can't hook it up on the day it's activated because the people who built my apartment forgot the phone line. :dunce:

Had a job interview. It started in English, went to German, and then Spanish. Yes. I'm serious. Yes, it is odd.

Don't like the 200 km./day drive, though... Don't think I'll take it.
