Oh that sucks, what car?

Toyota 7 Race Car '70 on monaco in historic racing cup trimmed to 900+ BHP, tried with my lvl 27, 26 , 25 & 24 racers, they are incapable of finishing anything above 4th, rubbish, just shows how awful b-spec is in genera Keeps breaking in straights and where you dont need to, just like the indy ****. Back to a-spec for me, this is bs.

The Toyota 7 is rubbish in Monaco, because it doesnt have the same power in the lower band as the other cars its competing with. It means it is accelerating slower than the rest, and the only real chances you have on overtaking is the tunnel and the subsequent braking zone, where bob - more often than not - will hit the wall. Same goes for start/finish straight, if he tries to take a different line on the final corner he will probably hit the wall there.

The trick really is just to level him further up, I cannot remember at which point, but suddenly Bob just suddenly stopped hitting the walls, he still aimed for them mind you, but it appears he suddenly realizes oh there is a wall there and turns away from it. Setting up the car properly is also a great tip, someone here posted a great setup for Monaco, but I cannot remember where. Remove the toe-in and tell him to overtake before the tunnel. Eventually you will get it.

Thnaks, do let me know if you find that setup, im all for having to work for the win, but this is kind of silly i guess.

B-spec was pretty much free of grinding till I reached level 17, what do you guys use for xp in B-spec? Just finished the Gallardo race and can't proceed until I level up.

Monaco is one of the hardest races to win in B-Spec. Having more power is not always the answer. In the case of Monaco the trick is to not be behind the 2J as if it makes it to the front Bob will not be able to pass it at least not at that level. If you go in and out a few times you will find a line up with only one 2J in it starting near the back. With some direction you can get Bob to the front of the pack and then he will run away with it.

Fro leveling up B-Spec I use the highest level races that are open where Bob can win without direction and let him grind them while I do something else. Now that I am level 30 he is grinding the Dream Car Championship for money and the endurance races for xp at night. Not much money in the endurance races but xp reward is good.

G.Pace is still going strong in B-Spec. He earned me a GSX-R/4 I've been wanting that never seems to show up used, and also the Citroen GT Race Car (silver). He's been plowing through the field at the Grand Valley endurance for the past 53 laps. I don't think he likes an FGT wearing Sport - Soft tires, as he seems to have trouble with grip on the series of turns before the first tunnel.

I forget. I think the Super GT championship, pretty sure on this one but seems like there was one other one that I can't remember.

Edit: I mis-read the question. On Expert there are no 2 driver races. They first appear in Extreme and then Endurance uses 4

You'll have to be at least level 23 before you run any 2 driver races if I remember correctly.

I'm sure the B in B-Spec stands for Beer :D

My Bob is currently Level 20 and getting up to 21

in the meantine i'm just necking a few Beers whilst he gets there :dopey:

I've got 3 other Bobs but there all around Level 3 , there just waiting in the wings for when I need some Cr and Xp

Alright I just got to 15, Im on my last race of the Gt championship level 14.

Lol good point out about the B-Spec part .

If you run your other Bobs in those high level races, the ones you can give him a car for an easy win, they will level up very fast. All of mine have caught the first one at this point or very close. 6 drivers all between level 25-27

boring...and my driver is a idiot...a-spec IS GT's bread n' butter, why they thought to include the b-spec side of the game i can't figure out...

I'm enjoying B-Spec a lot. I'm actually level 23 in both, but slightly closer to 24 in B-Spec.

My drivers are both 21 I think. I actually kinda enjoy coaching them through tough races, even if they do annoy the crap out of me sometimes when they brake for no reason instead of overtaking. Or slam into the back of a car instead of overtaking. Or overtake and then brake and give it back.

When they aren't in traffic they're pretty damn fast, but they suck at overtaking.

Yeah thats why I like B-Spec, I have 3 level 10 an a level 4.

B-Spec is my cash cow. I stopped playing A-Spec after 2 days, simply just to get to S license.

Loving B-spec. The consensus is that it is good. Most people who don't like it have been impatient. Push through and the payoff is rewarding.

The rewards aren't really THAT great. I just want the free X1 at level 35 an I can have my endurance races done by my drivers.

My b-spec driver got a lot better lately. He just won gt all stars in his first try :D
He won at nordschleife and tokyo, second at trial mountain and two fourths at grand valley and cape ring. narrow win, by 10 points in general classification. He drove a toyota minolta 88c-v.
ive got other drivers but i hardly ever use them

Ive had a few beers tonight, well over the GT drink drive limit so im letting my driver do some racing. Quite relaxing after a few beers, chilling out just listening to some cool engine noises...

Hahaha you didn't have enough beers if you can go on the internet an type.

I'm currently doing the NASCAR championship for the 3rd time in b-spec. First time I didn't notice it was a championship and I did the races individually. Second time I got 400 points after 4 races and decided to quit and take the win, but forgot to go to the next race and THEN quit, so I just ended up quitting.

I'm back at Indy again, halfway through. My driver doesn't have any trouble winning, but it's still kinda a pain having to babysit and keep him from slowing down too much.
