Semi-related:
The event rewards data (e.g. in the "Matrix" spreahsheet) show that the A-spec 'Ring 24hr race is worth like 9.8M XP points...but you can't run the race till you're level 40...but once you hit level 40 you can't accumulate any more XP?? So what's the point of the XP reward in A-spec? (I understand it for B-spec, since your drivers can still compete once you hit level 40, even if they aren't level 40 themselves.)

Am I missing something here?

I'm not even going to try to reach 40. I'm making my last trade tonight and I only need to save up to buy one more car (premium Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car). Endurance races are too much for me so I spend most of my time online. But congrats on doing something I probably never will (I'm A-Spec 36 right now, almost 37).

^^^ Agree 100%

Since the release of Shift 2 I played GT5 once for the Lambo Seasonals, and then right back to Shift.

What a crazy fun game. The competition is matched to you so there's no easy wins, and it's hella fun to play!

This! Ignore the handful of haters that are on a mission to badmouth this game because it's NFS. Shift 2 is an amazingly fun and addictive racing game. 👍

But does it have rubberbanding AI? If not then I might pick it up. That's the 1 thing that keeps me from buying NFS games.

To the OP. The last thing this game needs is more pointless levels.

No rubberbanding. In fact, the AI are brilliant... Competitive, intelligent and eager to win. And they're always matched exactly to your car's performance, so there are no easy wins. 👍
