I don't think the way to get more people in your series is to be rude to everyone trying to help you.

And calling R1600Turbo's series boring... did you actually look at it?

Try thinking of something original, like stated above.

He needs to have raving tires though.

I'm in for a race too!

Can I be the steward?

Blitz24
Can I be the steward?

Sure why not, reckon a 2nd steward too with 4 spectators is prob best, four sets of eyes would be better than two. Will lock room to 12 and boot anyone not named as either driver or steward/spectator if they don't leave when asked..

Just got to work out a time and date. I'm on holidays next week but the week after would work. Nero, what time is usually best for you?

GTP Admins, would one of you like to officiate with Blitz?

this sounds interesting...

i crash almost on every lap during practice on the Nurburgring.

can i join?
if the almighty xNeroZero allow that is...

Can I spectate if I've got time? Would be awesome to watch :)

So you want a good racing series huh , well it should not be all tht difficult to get started .... However keep it running and running good after day one 1 is the challange . You have a lot of people here giving you advice and possible support , people who have unlike me have tons of experience hosting these racing series .

But i still have a couple of ideas .

Lets start with you're drivers . You say that the people you had invited where not good enough for you and you're friends . Now there is a very easy solution to this .
Try outs ... yes simple tryouts , you take 1 track in an open lobby , private lounge with 1 maybe 2 different cars who are in the same PP range ... Use of recommended cars only .
You and you're friends set a time you take the fastest time and calculate the old 107% qualifying rule from Formula 1 . for example you're laptime is 1.40.000 then people should drive under a 1.47.000 to be able to compete in the racing series .
Before you host these qualifying / try outs make sure to post it on the forums / advertise it . Even in public rooms where you see good drivers . Give all details so that people can train for it .

As for cars , fast cars ( racing cars ) don't always guarantee faces / good races . Sometimes you will have a closer battle with for example 450PP racing then with 600PP .
I would suggest using premium cars only . The reason is simple , people should be able to get the required car within minutes . no need for days /weeks searching for a car .

Look at cars wich are not that easy to drive , giving it more of a challange , in other words cars prone to oversteer ... here come the facter in play of driving skill .

Just 2 ideas , but i still would suggest you join a ongoing racing series , at least for 1 season so you can see and experience the problems people face and learn from there solutions .

On GT-Planet there is so much knowledge to aquire and people willing to share it with you it would be silly not to make the best use of it

Heathenpride, just give me a date and time and I will be there.

I would have to see if I'm able to do this. I'll send the message on to my friends and see if they want to. I my self am open to the challenge. We'll see though. If there is anyway could you get a full room of people that could race with us? The original reason I came here was to get good people to drive with us. The bolded parts are serious problems with your challenge. Why would you allow modifications? They're cars built to those specs, and I'm not p.imping my cars, they stay clean. Why would you allow racing soft? That easy mode, and plus the tires are already fake as can be. Penalties on heavy? I'm sorry but I played with penalties on light on Fuji F and I get penalized for putting two tires over the apex in a turn.

I think a good series would be Jaguar XR9LM's at Spa and Route X. Y'know, to get started...

I don't have the DLC, so I can't do that, lol.

Nah mate, full damage with open tyre choice plus weather that's the challenge, can do daytime for your mates old tv though.

Not cheating IMO but I definately prefer it on especially for long races 👍

I just don't see the logic in dull damage. Thanks for doing day time though. What happens if someone doesn't hit their breaking point in the first turn, and smashes into you?

You get damage

Then why are we able to modify them? If you're not, well then you're missing out on half the game. Its what GT is. Buying, modifying, tuning, and racing cars.

What I get from your attitude is that you think you're better than everyone else, and if we don't race you with your own rules, then we don't matter because we race "decked out road cars".

👎

The Real Driving Simulator, that's the motto of the series. I don't think someone in real life would deck out a Ferrari 458 to make it a "race car," except the GT3 version of the 458, but that races in a real series in motor racing. As I said before, my cars stay clean. I seen your Miata race, and it looks like DLC cars. I don't own the DLC so that's out of the question. And the V8 Super car race, why would you deck those cars out? I know there's only one in the game, but those cars in real life are built to be as alike as possible.

i leave the race cars in stock form, there is no appeal for me to make the car something it isn't. Now on the other hand cars from the dealership I'll setup in multiple trim levels. Seeing as PD will not be adding GT class cars that I want I do what I can to get close to them.

All cars need modification, they crave it...

First, who even says "decked out" anymore? :odd:

I know there's only one in the game, but those cars in real life are built to be as alike as possible.

And my cars were tested, tested some more, then re-tested to make sure they were even. Sometimes as close a 0.020 seconds. I'd say that's pretty damn close.

Oh, and we have a practice race on Friday night. If you're so good, you should come join us. Or are our "decked out" road cars too much for you to handle?

I can't say p.imped. So what they're 0.20 secs apart? It's not a real race car, they're p.imped. As I said, my cars stay clean. If you ever do real race cars, let me know I'll be open to do it.

That's a really good idea. Make sure people don't waste me and my friends time. I'll take that into consideration.

He must be Trolling elseware

GT300 stock.
Like a champ.

Off Topic/Slightly on topic.
Though I wish there was a second oil change. One that isn't adding magic BHP and level the car useless in non-tuning rooms.
Oilchange shouldn't be considered tuning and it shouldn't give that much added BHP. :/
