So.... My sister just won a Prius

Well... My sister came home a few minutes ago screaming that she won 2009 black Prius after buying a $12 ticket. She bought the ticket only because it was for Ceribal Palsy, and that was the only reason.

So now I'm the proud owner of a 2004 Focus...

And getting my license soon I don't think this could of come and a better time.

The Focus will make a super easy car to learn in to.

EDIT: I think a avatar change will be in order.

No way... I would much rather have the Focus.

I don't think I would live owning a Prius. And I really wanted the Focus too... It's pretty well optioned out.
 
I would've taken the Prius. Overpriced, boring, yes... but a free ride with an automatic and great fuel economy? Hell, yes! :lol:
 
BAH! lucky dog. I've had the promise of being able to drive 2 cars pulled from me. one was because the car wasn't being driven and when I was 13 my mom donated it for a tax refund and the other one wasn't given to me because of lack of communication throughout the family and i was given my 🤬 Taurus.

Meh, enjoy yo self. what type of engine does it have?

The Focus is free... it gets good mileage... its FUN to drive and well its FUN!

I don't know what kind of engine really... I'll have to ask pop.

EDIT: After looking at specs online I think it has the 2.3l I4.
 
If I were her I'd have sold it right away, stuck with the Focus and got the same mpg, and made off with the cash. But hey this way you have a car now!

Actually, I'd probably get (provided you could get around 30,000 for it) a 370z.

Dad bought it brand new so I know its been taken care of and its had no major problems. 50k well taken care of miles. I'd say 80% of the miles are highway miles too. As she used to live in San Diego and its mostly highways down there.

Yeah well it gets 100+ mpg just with the aero mods.

I hope your sister knows nothing in life is free as I'm sure whoever actually tried to get rid of that Prius will do whatever they can to get their money back.

What the hell are you talking about? I think my sister knows nothing is free... Shes 23 finished college and has her own staging business. This is a contest that real organization for disabled children put together. It was a fundraiser; A successful one to, making more then 50 grand. Yes she has to pay the taxes on the car but its a brand new car.

This is no ones car... It's sitting brand new at the dealership.
 
It was a joke. I'm making fun at the expense of her having to pay taxes on it b/c everyone knows not even dealers want Prius' on their lot.

Well... shes going to end up paying about 6 or 7 grand which is a fraction of what she has and makes.
