Someone in this thread mentioned a "Maserati event" and the payout, anyone know about this? Was there another seasonal on Thursday or some kind of bonus race? Or is my memory failing me and this is some weird A-Spec event I totally forgot about?

Not if you try it in an unmodified Honda Z Act with comfort tires.

I don't think I could've done the muscle car seasonals in my Cougar if the cougar wasn't modified or on comfort tires. That would be really hard I think.

o.O I worked my way up from the older Kei cars with less power on stock settings and tyres, but until I hit the more modern cars with 63HP I was well down in the pack.

Did you win any of the races with the Z-Act or just try?

That said, I did spend rather too long trying them out at Deep Forest and didn't get around to the other races yet

i dont care what race you are doing, it is ten times more fun in a 68 corvette with 450 horsepower and the stock tires. I am actually disappointed in the ocd, it makes rare cars commonplace. It is nice for cars such as the fgt, but i would really want to keep some of the lower end racecars prime trading material. Plus i miss those top dollar seasonals alot.

Yes, there is no such event, think he meybe just got confused with one of the other Seasonal Events.

I'm enjoying the Classic Muscle car events. I needed a reason to tune up the old Goat and the Cougar too.

While I was at it, I dusted off the GNX and kind of like driving it around the tracks too.

Bought a couple of the Camaro SS 1969 cars in different colors.

Try the Mustang Cobra in the musclecar races for a challange. The back end comes loose all over the place even in RS tires.

I've been using the Daytona muscle car event for grindage. Rigging the controller like you do for "Like The Wind" automation, I use the GT40 and leave it running. Unfortunately that blasted 'vette storms off but the rest of the field is left standing, despite the wall riding. So you get 60 something thousand every five or so minutes.
(I don't yet have the X2010 so this is the highest grinding payout I can get, as the Veyron can only manage 11th in LTW.)
