What was the reason why the Course Maker has been delayed roughly a year and a half?

You said there was a good reason for the gue delay but you couldnt tell it. So can this reason be unveiled now, or will it be a secret forever?
I'm really curious to know... This and some other unexplainable problems that PD have with their game, that apparently take forever to solve.
