I do =) however I did have a problem with B-5 -.-
I've got 100% gold on national B and 1 gold so far for national A. I'm working more on the special events. Should I feel ashamed I actually have to redo the stopping challenge (the first one of each license) quite a few times.
100m, 400m, 1000m. LOL.
Not just myself then. I am at 28-2-0 and will be sitting down later attempting to gold IC3 ? (at Indy) and IC10 - getting disqualified when I do not even 'feel' the bump is disappointing, damn AI.The tests that stick in my mind were IC 10, IA 10. Damn annoying because you can easily outbrake the A.I but I lost count how many times I got disqualified for slightly touching the A.I.
you guys that golded everything, I have to ask have you done anything else in the game since it came out? I spent 45 minutes on IC-2 I think, the M5 on trial mountain corner, and the best I could do was 16.236 when I needed 16.200 I screamed a four letter curse word so loud and so often that I'm lucky nobody called the police. I'll give myself high blood pressure trying to get golds on some of these. Seriously I get to the point of almost unleashing violence on inanimate objects in the room. You guys are superheroes.
The super licence was really easy and I did all 10 in the space of 2hrs.
I was really disappointed that S License was so easy. It was the easiest one by far. The only one I had problem with was S-4 (Tokyo R246). Everything else was gold on first/second try.
all gold on B, but i don't see the point spending so much time to get get gold on the rest. sure the reward car for gold may be nice, but i don't think it would be worth the time for me. you don't get anything else in game, or even a trophy for all gold. if anything was trophy worthy in a game all gold on GT licenses is.
Guys I tell ya there is one licence test, which is SO much harder than any else, it's where you drive with a Nissan Sedan on La Sarthe and brake hard at the end of the straight and than the sharp right-turner, believe me, you will spend A LOT of time with it, if you want it gold.
If you've got a wheel and want a real challenge, try getting golds with traction control off, ABS off, and skid recovery off, and use the clutch pedal. It makes a huge difference in the level of difficulty. I generally turn all of these driver aids off since real race cars don't have them. Managed to get gold in all the A and B license tests so far using these settings (except for the Top Gear test with the Lotus Elise, I could only get bronze with these settings - it is physically impossible to get Gold on this test without turning TC, ABS, and Skid Recovery on since the Lotus is so snappy loose and you have to drive like crazy to pass 11 cars in two laps.).
On IC-2 but i'm one of those people who when i start a test i have to cpmplete it and get gold, only had the game a day but weirdly i can't find the rally races/ endurance ones :S is it me or were there more races on the last games? :L
Getting all golds is a nice challenge, but more importantly, it teaches you how to be fast in the game... if you take the time to master the techniques you need to gold them all (or at least gold the difficult ones) it will make you a much better driver when it comes to on-line racing and time trials.
