Wonder what kinda software it is. Very interesting.

PS3 games are written in a certain program language so whatever it is..it can open files programmed with that language...?
That is my guess..

Yes, the codes had to be decoded somehow. IDK. Some kind of decoder maybe, and then other software. But, they had to be decoded somehow, I don't know how though.

I wonder if there any ability to unlock slealth models and other such exclusive stuff? I would like to buy them as DLC but there are no chances that PD will unlock them even for money as DLC :guilty:

Here:

Some tickets has been made in GT5 but never shown in wild.

. . .

Probably, there are many other secrets buried in GT5 files.

P.S.: I'm not going to give/send these discoverer cars and tickets. I'm not a developer of GT5 and cannot decide what to do with this. I just hope PD will start to give it to us either for free or through DLC.

I wonder if you can turbocharge and add power upgrades to the f2007 and cars like it that normally lack many tuning options

Ha, a stage 5 turbo, stage 5 engine tuned X2011 on racing super soft tyres. Would probably break the in game physics.

Do you want to know why it was a half-finished game? Because "We want more now and need it now!!" It was all like that back in 2009-10 wasn't it? Just forcing them to release it.

Bullcrap.

Also some of you are making a meal of this. He never said all of the DLC was on the disc and he also never said all of the future DLC was on the disc. He simply said two cars have a prefix which suggests they may be DLC but DLC itself is added in updates. None of it is on the disc and what is on the disc Kaz knows they left on the disc and it was only a matter of time before someone saw it, just like all the previous games with hidden stuff. It isn't going to "stop GT5", "cancel the seasonals" or "stop DLC" so quit worrying.

Straight and to the point as always love it.

That's the thing with Simon, you either love or hate his posts. But regardless, he always delivers the message! 👍

Been following the work since the very first post, and reading along.
I have a request. Sorg, Have you managed to find any trace of the long lost premium Subaru Impreza Rally Car '99?

Jeez, I must be getting a little old. "GREAT SCOTT," it was a referance to this brilliant man:

My response in post #317 was to the guy eluding to the fact that Polyphony Digital was able to put the C7 camo. Corvette into the game from launch, before it was even conceived.

Therefore time travelers.

Now I've come full circle and dually destroyed any humor left in me or the post.

Exactly! :nervous:

First of all, brilliant work sorg! Keep going, but take your time.

I do believe though, if this is as big as it seems, for the sake of simplicity there should be a stickied, organized thread on the matter with structured posts on different finds such as hidden cars, tickets, colors and whatnot, or at least a suitable change of thread title and a rewritten OP containing all the info. Because it seems to me that all this valuable information sorg has found is being suffocated by the wild speculations that have filled this thread so far.
Nothing wrong with speculations; I believe we all like to speculate :)
I'm just saying it'd be easier to follow sorg's research if it were separated from such a discussion thread as this has become.

In any case, amazing finds, superb work sorg! 👍

I wonder if there is a way to help sorg ... I would like to help him, since I also want to do something, and not only to ask for something.

This is only list of features. It's not exactly implemented in game.
With so many hidden tunings, it's easy to make GT6 from GT5 already, haha :) Probably, PD is testing some new features already. May be it can be unblocked by some special key file, save, or whatever.

Just a thought .. Maybe we'll get GT6 for christmas? A free GT6 converter on psn store that upgrades GT5 to GT6 =)

Love reading this post sorg

I haven't read every post so somebody may have pointed this out...

"Cracking" the files to learn their hidden contents is fine.

Sharing the hidden contents is fine. (Although sharing the cracked files or method so that others can do it probably crosses a line.)

But if somebody uses the information to gain cars or upgrades that aren't released, then Sony will drop the hammer, but only on those guilty parties.

So the sky isn't falling.

At least not until the 21st...

something comes to mind

maybe that's does explain why update 2.00 till now, especially spec 2.00 is a very2 large file.... remember we must install the updates first... the disc only hold the basic data, but all the DLC n stuff added to the game through the patch and installed to the game data =D

I mean it does contain like those extra tuning, only super soft included in the basic data =D

I don´t understand why everybody is so happy like "wow PD will launch more DLC´s".

PD didn´t even talk about this information.

We must keep our adrenaline low. Maybe the hidden tickets is just something that the Devs. just abandoned. Maybe is something that probably PD will launche.

People are so happy because they're not taking the time to think this through. More than likely the vast majority of this stuff will never truly see the light of day for anyone but a hacker, and the odds are that there are good reasons for that.

To leave all this stuff thats never to see the light of day on the disc where its taking up HDD Space and Disk space? Doesnt sound like a very Kaz thing to do, being the "perfectionist" and all... It doesnt make sense. Its got to be there for a reason.
