Bless my cotton racing socks!
I've been visiting this site for what seems like a lifetime and I've never yet had the urge to post a reply. I've simply been enthralled by the tanacity of a small number of fellow members who've managed to scour the web in search of the 'latest' info of our 'beloved' racing franchise.
A large and warm THANKYOU to those stalwarts who've provided glimpses of what when it eventually hits the shelves will be the most awesome spectial of genius that has thus far graced the Cathode tube/LCD/Plasma screens.
I've also been simply amazed at some of the 'arguments' that have materialised. It's been an eye-opener just how bruised some individule's egos can become. It's a safe bet that after we've all had time to get to grips with the 'Ring' there'll be more arguments in the future; best time, best car, best corner, best tree, best crash, etc...
There is however little one can do to stop the inevitable so the majority of us can only hope that the 'Angry Clan' take the opportunity of the impending festive season to chillout and get ready for some serious gaming. Cos, guys (and gals), that's all this boils down to, even if it's the dog's cahones!
So what, you may well ask, has persuaded me to break the steady ranks of the Silent Surfer Brigade? Well, other than to get the above off my chest, I actually spotted something of interest in the picutres.
PD appears to have drafted in an ex F1 driver to blast a DB9 around the Ring. Non other than current ALMS driver Johnny Herbert. Why's this such a cool thing? It's possible, although I'm the first to admit not entirely probable, that we might get 'pukka' racing driver's times to beat in the 'Time Attack' (or whatever it's called) mode. Just a thought.

Either way, it's certainly Johnny in those pics.
Without further ado, may I take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and an absolutely fabulous 2005!
Peace to all.
Cheers...
