I searched and didnt see this anywhere so i think i would like to be able to see custom license plates instead of just seeing what kind of car im driving

Custom plates would be a good idea, and it wouldn't take alot of effort to make it happen.

Some cars look better with plates, others don't, can't say I'm bothered about custom plates.

Commentry would be good for comic value but not much else.

A Plate would add a few extra ounces to the race car. . . I think a Civic would have an extremely hard time keeping up with a few extra ounces on its rear

The plates should come off after a stage 1 weight reduction, that would be a nice detail.

personaly i think it should be one of those extra features. When you go in to change the oil and everything you should be able to change or take of the licsense plate.

I could care less about everything besides exterior mods. Not body kits. I mean rear disfussers, front canards, so on..But custom plates would be cool. I'd steal www.exvitermini.com 's plates. "8thSin"

i think plates are a must..that way when you forget which car you tuned for drifting or grip, u can write it in the plate or something else that signifies that its that

Speaking of custom plates, is there anywhere in the US that uses 9 character personalized plates? I'd like to change my residence to that location and get LOUDMUSIC (:

What about you guys around the world - do your countries provide personalized plates? I know some of you have crazy long car tags, surely it's 9 characters long.

Dont diss need for speed. The only thing that actualy lets you use nos, though ireally dont like it. But i seed the plates is just a show thing.

well have license plates with country flags and then letters and number or like a checkered flag or plain colors like white, blue, red to match the car or whatever, yea I kinda do think it worthless really but if there gonna do it, do it right and make it fun to actually create them and not like a chore ya know, it will deff make each car feel diffrent, and if we could use our modded cars for online racing I think it would be cool to see what people come up with...

I was thinking that maybe it would be great if cars came with a automatically generated license plate number, depending on the country they are built. I think it would add a nice touch of realism... but hey, aren't we too late to come up with ideas for GT4?

Now to be back on topic, one thing i would really really really like to see, is custom graphics on the car, rather than like on the wrx the stars, something like flames.
