Partying..
I wanna tell you a bit about the Norwegian 'russefeiring'. This article covers the basics.. We roll with buses, party every night (also on schoolnights) and do missions, like drinking a case of beer in 24 hours and having protective sex in the woods.
The most spectacular and interesting point of the celebrations (lasting for 3 weeks) is the buses.. They are like cheap and ghetto party buses we build ourselves, in action from 8 pm to 5 am every day for the 3 weeks
Here's the bus song of the bus I rolled the most with. I could've been in on it, the only difference is that I would've had a sweater saying Kamikaze and there would always be space for me on the bus - and I would've been more broke than I am
I did work on Kamikaze though..
A typical bus looks like this:
This voting covers most of the buses from the west side of Oslo.. Keepin' it simple (although arrogant), this is where the money is.
We have 3-4 main events in addition to all the rolling around in suburbs and playing music at parking lots with other buses.
Is there anything like this Stateside?
Or in the UK?
