I am the stig's son. :dopey: I was immaculately conceived, if you have been searching your whole life for a way to have fun, I am your messiah.:dopey:

I'm ordinarily online from about 8:30 PM EST to 2:00 AM EST and host my lounge for the entirety of that time.

We always do a variety of things, including, but not limited to: Shuffle Races, One Make races, GT500, GT300, Rally, the Daytona 500cc, the top gear 1500 (with kamikazekarts), Straight line karting, Flying Fiats, Soccer Mom Snowmobiles.

The way I regulate my room is this: There are 3 penalty settings, 3 damage settings, 3 boost settings, 2 grip settings, 30 or so tracks, over 1000 cars, you get the point :D
We will try anything and everything that anyone thinks is fun. Whether it's tight clean racing or being completely bonkers we will find a way to enjoy ourselves.

If you haven't done so already, friend GTP_SOHNVONSTIG on PSN and I'll make sure you get a psn message invite.
 
This sounds like a ton of fun. I'd like to join sometime.

I'm certainly not the fastest but I did manage to grind my way into round 2 of the GTA. Hopefully I can keep up w/ you guys

Congrats! I'll add you up tonight, and don't worry, almost anyone can "keep up." When you've got a room with 16 people in it, there's always at least 4 races going on on the track.
 
I was only able to come for two races but it was fun.

Watching you top guys battle it out is almost more fun than actually doing t he racing. Fix edging out Tha-Ghoast by less than a tenth at Suzuka was a great battle for those last 1.5 laps.

Anyway, I came away really impressed with you guys :bowdown:

By the way I was joking with the "excuses" comment, I just sound extremely unfunny on the mic so I always come across like an asshole :)

You guys are entertaining and really fast so it's perfect for practicing, if anyone is thinking of joining us, you won't regret it.

Haha man never thought you were bein serious :D I'm just glad you finally got a mic sorted out!

By the way I have a sort of "special plan" for tomorrow night, so bring your favorite car

I also need to better compensate for the effects of drafting. I almost always overshoot my braking points when I'm drafting. I originally thought it was just because I couldn't see the track as well, but now realize it probably has something to do with the added speed.

This stuff makes for good practice though.

Oh, and "Nissan" works fine for me since that's what I track IRL.:)

Yah the draft is INSANE, also remember that it negates some of your downforce so depending on the car you may even have to take the entire corner slower.

So anyone racing tonight before and/or after the hour long maintainence of the online "service" thing? (which seems like its going to be part of the update :D, but I could be wrong)

Lol choate and I didnt know the update was comin so we've been in there alone for like 2.5 hours :D Noone could join cuz we weren't updated.

Anyway, I've got an early morning 2moro so I'm out for the night. Cya 2morro night!
 
I waited for about 2 1/2 hours for the update to complete and all I got was a message telling me I can't connect to the server.:irked:
 
Coming back to the room. Been on a gt5 break playing warhammer :P lounge going to be up tonight? I got a couple custom tracks I want to share
