PARAGON GT,I am feeling dumb here,but help me please.How did you insert the you tube video.I was going to insert this one,but screwed it all up,just got a blank page. :dunce:

Go to youtube and find the video you want to post. The site will look something like this:

All you need out of that is the jumble of letters and numbers after the = sign and put it between the [YOUTUBE ][/YOUTUBE ] tags ([YOUTUBE ]Ykmekz9--t8[/YOUTUBE ]).

I hate you guys. I missed the one song I knew so far. :mad: Don't know this one either I'm afraid, and I like 50's surf rock/whatever like D&J and The Beach Boys.

Now, I've got a question for Paragon. For the theme week, does the song have to be directly about cars, or can cars be a recurring secondary/implied theme? I have a few songs in mind but I don't want to give away any ideas.
 
Um . . . lets see.

The two that I put up were about cars, the ones by Nicksfix TB put up were about racing and cruising . . . so I guess if they are along those lines it would be fine.
 
Ok so pretty much if it has anything to do with autos it's good, as long as it isn't some way far out there connection.

Once someone answers, look up surf music.
Jan and Dean were contemporaries of the Beach Boys.
They were never "big" as they were college students and only part time musicians.
Their music was a little more "Obscure".
But a lot of their music was about the beach scene in the late '60s and fast cars.

Jan Berry was very nearly killed in 1966 in a MVA when his 'Vette hit a large truck.
He was about halfway thru med school at the time of the accident.

If you search, you might find the movie "Deadman's Curve" it came out in 1978, when I was in 8th or 9th grade.

What a song title :lol:, the reason this stuck out was the one radio staion around here was talking about this one once,simply because of the length of title.

I hate you guys. :banghead: It looks like I need to get up earlier on Sundays if I want to participate. Oh well, the only one I would have gotten was I Can't Drive 55. I know the PJ song/cover, but darned if I haven't heard it since a few months after it came out. Good thing it's first to 100 and not 10 though. ;)
