While the first one went somewhat ok,we encountered a few snags along the way.So after some discussion we have voted to close the old version and begin a new one.
It is an all new game,previous points are going to be dropped,this time around bonus points can be earned.If you can post a song and "stump the forum" for a period of 2 days (from time of posting) you will recieve 2 bonus points.If your song gets answered by a member correctly,he / she will recieve 1 point for guessing the song name and it's lyrical content.That person will then post a new song,BUT,it will have to fall within the guidelines of the weeks theme as set by the particular host for the week.
The week will run from Saturday midnight to Saturday midnight.At that time the last person who has answered correctly will be the host of the week and will set forth the thread guidelines for the upcoming week.(PLEASE DO-STATE YOUR GUIDELINES IN BOLD PRINT OR COLORED PRINT AS TO GET EVERYONES ATTENTION SO WE DO NOT RUN INTO A SCENARIO LIKE " I DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS AC/DC WEEK OR WHATEVER !!!!! I hope this is clear.
The posting contestant of the week will have his / her choice of choosing what the thread will consist of.They will have the option to make it a specific genre week ( all genres are accepted as to keep all involved ),a specific artist week,70's decade,80's decade,90's decade,or just leave the door open / random draw.It will be your choice.Make up something if you want to.
The game will go on until somebody gets to 100 points.At that time,the winner of that round will be awarded,then the next round will start all fresh.
I have decided to make this worth while as well. I will make it so the 1st person to reach 100 points will recieve a prize. (of course you will have to pm me privately with your name,address,etc to recieve it)(the prize is worth it,it's real,not fictional)( HINT - it is music related ) I am exempt from the prize. In the situation if it should happen that I would win , I will award the prize to the 2nd place finisher.If by chance there is a tie for second at that point in time,I will host a single round for just those entrants who may be tied.
For those of you who are new members and not real sure what this is about,this is how it goes:
A person will post a song stating the artist and some lyrical content with words missing.All you have to do is fill in the banks and name the song title. Very simple.Your posted song MUST be from a mainstream artist that we have at least all heard of and the song has to be a recognizable one as well.
Local garage bands-artists , Underground bands-artists , regional bands-artists are UNACCEPTABLE - no questions !!!! I will try to keep in touch here as much as possible to keep tabs on what is happening and keep scoring up to date,but due to working schedules,vacations,illnesses,personal reasoning,spring - summer activities.it will be very hard for me to be here 24 / 7. Therefore I have aquired 2 assistants to help me keep tabs on what is going on here as for as point scoring,bonus awards,anything in question,or any other type of issue which may arise such as a conflicting song and it's content or a situation like PARAGON GT and myself encountered where we had the song and content but we differed by 1 word ( I said 2,he said to ), he won that one.If you do not know a given song,please post in the forum that you do not know it,and then you will have the right to become a "moderator" and go search for any lyrics that are in question as to try to resolve any situation that may occur.

I thought and thought and got nothing. After googling I see why...I never got into that particular album. You just may pull a stumper right out of the gate.
