Does this mean that the saved data and cars I have now on my ps4 for GT SPORT will also be on PS5?
Why do they not put an emulator in these things?
Cant be that hard surely and would at least let you play most old games.
They want to sell them to you on the store.....
Love how Sony dance around the BC issue when the basic fact is they have done a poor job in this department and just having PS4 BC is not an impressive feat because it was practically a given. For me it's the single biggest disappointment of the console.
With a little bit of extra effort and investment it could have been done but Sony clearly are still having nightmares about the price of the full BC launch PS3.
I used to care massively about the PS5 having backward compatibility all the way to the PS1, but I ended up caring much less after a while.
At the end of the day, I’m kinda buying a new console to play new games
Same except applied to previous consoles. It seems they're happy to make remakes available for the next generation. I'm not too bothered. They should focus on the next generation games.
I also started selling the old console after getting the new one.
I still have a PS2 laying around with no use for it.
Would love to play all my old games again. Newer games have lost their way.
