In the same trailer?
Really excited about Brands Hatch being in the game, as I actually live about 30mins away from there and we go there maybe twice a year.

I'm not familiar with Brands Hatch.
Where is it, and what type of track is it?

Probably a pre-order car for somewhere else.

So there's another place to pre-order it other than Gamestop and Amazon that have bonuses? Amazon has the Million credit bonus and Gamestop has the 20 car pack which doesn't include the Cizeta.

Is nothing new:

Interesting that BMW has been doing it (whatever it is) since GT4, but still. It tells us very little about how they're actually using the game. And given that GT4 has even bigger physics problems than GT5, I'm even more dubious that it's anything other than pure marketing.

I don't see how you get meaningful information from testing your car to the limits in GT4 if you're a car manufacturer.

YOU will have 1000 real cars to drive.

Leave 100 concepts to US that love concepts since the first GT game.

Concepts are reality of the automotive industry.

I'm agreeing with Samus here; I have no problems with concepts being put into GT when they have real-life counterparts. These? So far as I can tell, they're just dreamt-up concepts from the companies. They're fictional cars, no better than the X2010.

Having this amount of concepts and such variety is the best showcase of strength, influence and importance that GT series have in the automotive industry.

A few of these companies let students draw up crazy, far-out concepts to be put on display, in sketch form, at various autoshows. Do those students have vast amounts of strength, influence, and importance?

Arguably, sure. But whether it's pen and paper concepts or some modeled in game, they're both just as much flights of fancy.

Every new concept in GT series is highly welcomed from the 1997.

For some. I fail to see the point in the Audi concepts in GT5, what with their road versions long since being put on the road. And again, at least they had actual concepts constructed.

Also, you may not heard the announcement, where GT engine is used from the manufacturers to visualize and test the named concepts. They are simulated with the GT engine. What more approval can one *game* get?

That's great marketing, nothing more. There's no way those companies don't have far more precise rendering tools available than one PS3.

I'm just giving my opinion, a concept car that doesn't exist outside of Gran Turismo is basically a fictional car, which I'm not interested in and I would rather PD didn't spend time on.

Agreed. I want real cars - I don't want to think about how much time might've been spent modeling some designer's daydream when there's hundreds of standards that could be updated.

That all said... PD still knows how to make exciting trailers, and overlooking the concepts, it was a pretty nice showing. I can't tell you how excited I am that a Fisker is finally available in a sim-ish racing game 👍

There is the rest of world you know. It may be a regional bonus not revealed yet.

Don't forget that secret file that says there was suppose to be a premium Bentley speed 8 and Nissan R92CP.

Brands Hatch is a brilliant racing track located in the UK. It's primarily used for BCTT and I believe it was once used for Formula One.

Apricot Hill looks amazing, especially with weather change, good to see the road version of the GT40 after 12 years, but I'm still not amazed, the music is terrible. But I think there hiding all the special stuff, spilling it all at once wouldent be good.

All of your cars would have chronic understeer for starters.

Guys, I was wondering something. I'm not "huge" on Vipers so i'm not sure on this.

at 1:42, is that a race car Viper?
or...
IS IT A LIVERY EDITOR
cause I really don't know...

EDIT** I saw the same graphic on 3 other cars :/

I noticed that too. I'm not sure if it's a stock stripe pattern for the SRT Viper, or if this is in fact a confirmation that we will be able to at least put stripes and simple decals on our cars.

I still doubt we'll ever have a livery editor, but I'm almost certain that we will have a basic selection of decals and stripes.

Great Britain and it is a damn fine track.

It usually comes in two configurations, short and long.

Gerhard Berger called it the best track in the world.

Well the new Viper is a pre-order car too. They get a special parts and paints that way.

I watched without any audio, sounds like I didn't miss anything. It just has to be better than the GT5 intro music with the piano. I HATE that intro music. :ouch:

There isn't any weather change on Apricot Hill in the trailer... I think you mean time change :P

Undulating clockwise course South east of London. Held F1 races until 1986, and today holds all manner of national and international races. Has two variations, the shorter Indy circuit, formerly used for Indy Car, and the longer Grand Prix Circuit, which, you guessed it, used to hold the Grand Prix.

Actually, that is the Bilstein Audi R8 LMS Ultra. You can just barely spot the yellow.
You might be right, the Michelin logos match the Bilstein model and the blue is close enough. But I still don't see the yellow, looks like white to me....
