Yep, these are someone's new toy, and I really apologize for posting it without his permission.

I'll delete this if he wants.

Well, that's quite a bit of a setup, there...

Wonder how much I'll have to pay him to buy it off him. ;)

So what is the meaning of life, Der Alta? And where can I download it from?

No Problem Der Alta :👍
:D Sorry the foto quality's not the best. :O

General info:

SEAT: From a wrecked Maxxima ($20.00). Yes, it still adusts fore and aft & the back reclines!!!
FRAME: 1.5" x 1.5" Steel / Heli-Arc (TIG) Welded. Removeable TV Shelf being fabbed. (I play w/14" TV but in the event I could use a "Big Screen" I wouldn't want the shelf blocking my view.) One Caster to be added so entire rig can be wheeled about like a wheelbarrow. Nylon "Feet", Plastic "End Caps" for the tubes & Paint are "In Stock." Hope to be back w/better quality fotos of the finished project soon...UB57
:D

Beautiful, Bob! Very nice - I like the wheel mount. The only thing I would suggest is to tip the pedal assembly up about 20 degrees, so the brakes don't feel like a lawn tractor.

:O :O :O Ooooooops!!! :O :O :O
:banghead: Forgot to add that THANX to Vat Man I now use a "Yellow Dot Squash Ball" under the Brake Pedal! Absolutely Do NOT Know How I Drove Without It!!! As to the angle??? guess I got used to it while sitting in a Fold-up chair from WalMart holding the MOMO in my LAP for the last Six Months!!!   ...UB57 :D

Considering how much ass you kick while holding the wheel on your lap, I'll say you got used to it...

:DSeat Update: Have added a "Removeable" TV/PS2 Shelf.( In the event I EVER get to use the Seat w/Big Screen TV, I can take off the shelf so it won't obscure my view.) 5 Speaker Sound System being proto-typed right now, simply CANNOT believe what I've been missing Playing GT3 thru the 2" MONO speaker in my 14" TV :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: ...UB57:D

Care to explain what 13" base is? If you are referring to a subwoofer (which is included in 5.1 surround) then typically they are 10, 12, 15" in car setups, 8,10, or 12 in home setups, or 6.5 or 8 in good computer setups. So i don't understand what you mean by "13" base"

well first , Bass is octives there for Sub Woofers are refered to as Bass, since they project the lower octive or Bass sounds, as opposed to your Base like home base or the base of a home.
Next i am a human being, i can get messurments off...

Bass is not octives. An octive is a measure of pitch. Each octive is about 7 full pitch steps either up or down. Bass is typically concidered any pitch below 70-80 ddB's or so.

ANYWAYS, the seat is AWESOME, I'm acually drawing up plans for mine now, which was definatly inspired by your design UB57. I'm gonna use a del Sol seat I have laying around and the new logitech wheel that comes out with gt4. I would love to email you some time and ask for some advise on build design.

Just for the record its UB57's seat...
Anyways, we have found something to agree on, his seat is cool and everything about it.

Hey, UB57, can we get a shot from the side, and from behind the TV?

do you wear a seatbelt? that would add a touch or realism with a big screen tv, maybe a fan to blow in your face while your driving. a sparco seat would be awesome too. nice work, maybe you should go into mass production

Sure, but might be a coupla days, I'm tryin' to figure out where I want the speakers right now, so there's wires EVERYWHERE!!! Plus I'm involved w/2 "OLRs" right now. The one from the side is no problem. Do you want one lookin' Over the TV at the "Front" of the Seat (kinda like lookin; thru a windshield)???...UB57
:D

two beside the head rest one on each side of the tv, and a subwoofer under the seat, then string the wires through the pipes to a 1,000wt amp

   Actually the seat is out in my workshop & when it's a little "Stuffy" I DO turn on a fan, but it's NOT like havin' 200mph Wind in your face!!! Threw the seatbelt away, but the "tilt & Fore/Aft" adjustment sure is nice when someone shorter or taller wants to drive!!! Thanx...UB57

a FM/AM/CD/MP3 radio/player for seperate sounds. along with car doors with power windows, a sun roof, and a trunk to put a cooler in for them long enduros

ok i got to thinking about it last night, next year i will be able to chose metal working as a class (yes i failed last year) My though on a frame wasa hexigon and have the upper most, and lower most bars stretched. The uper left is sized where a 20" is at a 30-35 degree angle faceing you, and then the lower lefte bar is reinforced for a laptop, steering wheel and pedals. Same basic design on the back but have a peice of sheet metal to cover it up on hingers, making it a place for a cooler.
Here is my list of add-ons im going to put in over time.

MP3 Player
Laptop (optional)
5.1 Dolbly Digital
20" flat screen (Anthony's Idea)
Sheet Metal or Diamond Plate to cover everything up
E-break (optional)
Manual Shift Box (optional)
Clutch (optional)
Heating Cooling

I had a really long list of add-ons i wanted to put on there but weeded most out. In the in, im going to try to make it look like and feel like a car on the in side, but make it look like a japanese arcarde cabinet.

What wheel and pedals are you using? They don't look like my GT Force setup at all.;)

Hi silviadrifter :
:D I use a Logitech "MOMO" wheel w/a "Yellow Dot" Squash Ball under the Brake Pedal. Absolutely the BEST Combo I've tried yet...UB57
:D

how 'bout this for a frame, Basic cage for a dune buggy, with the front and back ends off and then use aluminum to cover everything.
