Southern Sliderz - Australian Drift Team

Cool anyone up for a drift now want to try out a supra I think MR D sent as a surpise? Also a toyota fan boy thanks you for the supra.
 
Hi Guys, AussieStig117 here. A lot of you may remember me as the guy who was basicly framed then banned on here. If you don't remember, don't worry 'cause it was 3 months ago.
Anyway, things change in that amount of time and I tell you know, I've changed. Most importantly I've learned to control myself on forums and on GT5.

Over the past 3 months or so I've drifted most days, I wouldn't call myself pro, good at best but I was wondering if I could join Southern Sliderz again? I talked to ben_4224 back when it happened and I spoke about giving southern sliderz a break for around 2 months or so, and recently I've started drifting again so I thought why not try and join SS again.

If you guys say no then I respect that, but bare in mind that it's been a long time.

Pending the opinions of other mods I think we can give you a week trial to see how you drive & how you fit in with the rest of the team members.

We could definately use another decent driver as the sessions have been lacking attendence lately.

Whats everyone else think?


There's also a few other aussie teams emerging if you want a completely fresh start?

Mods on the forum or on the SS team? I personally don't think the mods need to know about me being here :sly:

EDIT: Yeah yellow I've still got the M3 but I don't drift it much, I tend to go for my Izuzu 4200R. It's been my beast for the past month or so, I love it!

That's good. I've been running my own Australian Racing club since late January called Midnight Racing Australia. We've got like 30 keen Australian members and about 10 members who play GT5. If you're ever in need of members for a drift comp, then just message me :D

Why not continue with that?

If we had another australian team we could almost have our own national tourny:idea:
Be a hell of a lot easier to deal with timezones:tup:👍

A few of them can't drift and most of the rest don't like drifting unless they need to. 2 of the main people that play GT5 just got G27's and they are both useless at drifting, so yeah. It's not worth trying to start a comp with them because they'll all turn up and suggest going for a cruise on nurburgring in slow cars or something like that instead of doing the comp.
And when I'm the best drifter on the team then I think that says something about us haha :)

haha fair enough, well we'll have to wait and see what the boys think of you rejoining

If you must know... I got in a fight with someone because they insisted that the F1 physics in this game were much better than F1 2010, yet both of us had never driven F1 cars so we wouldn't know. He got me fired up and I swore a few times which got me a 1 month ban so I could calm down a bit. a few days later I asked a guy on GT5 who's PSN started with GTP_ why he turned the mic's off and he started having a go at me. He told me he was reporting me even though I'd done nothing then I told him to get ..... and he started insulting me and getting me to say stuff I normally wouldn't then he took photo's of what I said on GT5 and pasted them on this thread and gave a copy to the mods which got me a life ban from this website. They didn't give me a chance, they just listened to this guy. I watched the guy on here for awhile and he pays for the use of GTPlanet, yet he is a troll. Trolling all day long, yet the mods still listened to him.

Basicly, like any 15 year old I swore a lot, which got me the ban. Things have changed. I'm 16 now haha 👍👍

Anyway, that was a long time ago so we can move on I suppose.
 
national drift comp sounds good. theres a few rounds of it this year and then a full season next year, gunna be good
 
Anyone coming on soon? I've done about 10 minutes of tandem drifting in my life so I need a bit of practice.

Just ignore the stupid comments people make and hope you learnt your lesson that it's not worth it there's a point where you just have to let it go not saying don't argue about what you thinks right but you have to know where to draw the line
