So, i got AFL Live. And incase any of you guys were wondering, it truly is the best Aussie Rules game yet. I however do have a few complaints that may be a dealbreaker if your'e considering buying the game...

-) There is only 2 songs that play in the menu, and with no custom soundtrack support, you do get a little bit tired of "Holy Grail"
-) There is a huge leap from "Amateur" to "Rookie" Difficulty, with these being the lowest two (out of 5) settings, i thought i would easily dominate in rookie, but this was not the case
-) It is very hard to learn & memorise the controls.
-) There is an awfully huge amount of bounces, when there should be frees
-) "Create a team" & "Create a player" modes are both excellent. However, i couldn't recreate my home town team's guernsey design
-) If your'e online, on your name on other peoples friend list, not only does it say "AFL Live" but it says who you're playing and the score. This can be embarrassing when your'e starting out
-) The trophy support is very good, and online play is intense. Especially bringing 4 mates on the one console & going online
-) Try it before you buy it, especially if you don't know much about the sport. It is easy to get lost and confused.
-) I have serious trouble in congested play, as the camera spases out and keeps switching direction.
-) The commentary is very annoying & repetitive. When first playing (& presumabely losing) the clever commentary quips are funny. But on the 13th time around they get really annoying.
-) The "Specky's" or High Flying marks look fantastic. Unfortunately you don't control when or if they happen
-) I got the game yesterday (A day prior to the official release date) and am already starting my second AFL season.
-) The drat is a bit hopeless and overall makes no big difference
-) Games go for a minimum of 12 minutes all the way to a full length 80+ minute game
-) Collingwood is the best rated team overall, but the field is very balanced overall. (Except Gold Coast, they're recreated very realistically)

There's my spill on the game. Don't worry i'm stlll playing GT5, but for the next couple weeks AFL may have me a little distracted :)

Agreed, I think we need to start taking the whole recruitment process a little more seriously eg having a proper trial for any applicants.

i spoke to gangmembah about this the first time they started saying it. and really. they both had pretty decent arguments (they kept ramming him, so on) and yeah.

ive heard alot of different stories.

Not really much point in that unless they're advertising it on GT5 forums.

Open lobbies and so on theres plenty of other drift teams and forums out there besides gtp some people just dont like gtp and some times i can understand why.

You guys are talking about psychos team yea?
From what he'd said they have a 20+ strong team - pretty good effort considering they have nothing to do with this place.

Im back!

Ill be up for a slide tonight Drifta

Has the team drift battle started yet? I checked the thread but it seems dead.

I believe that the mods can see the IP adress used to create a GTP user. So if your'e story is true, and Famine reads deeper into it, he would supposedly reconsider his thinking. I however am wondering why you had the Aussie Stig & Microwave Oven accounts to begin with. I thought it was 1 per person in the AUP

FYI, i saw the photos posted about what you wrote, and though i understand that you were provoked and lost your temper, that sort of reaction is a bit over the top. In an occasion like this would think it a better option to leave the room rather then entertaining people who are out for trouble.

I know what I did was wrong and I regret what happened, I should have left before that happened.

I told him that he should check the IP adresses but I don't really think it's worth it to them. This account was made when I was banned, it's till breaking the AUP, but I just didn't want you guys thinking I was making new accounts every 5 minutes.

Even if he just talked to my friend I'm sure he'd admit that he was the one that made the accounts. Then again he's 13 or 14 so I dunno.
