Cheers Ben, just a little sneak peak of you and your Silvia, it's coming out pretty fine!

Drifta, sweet tandems we had going on bro. 👍

Ive been chatting with ACN and Nemisis asked if they would be interested but never layed down a positive answer as too if it would go ahead. Dunno about H2H tournament???

P.S Sorry bout the room boys i lost connection.

And i think MR Dinosaw is right we have one of the most posted in clubs and SS needs to start representing there are TOO MANY GOOD DRIFTERS in this club not to and i think we could go head to head with any team on this forum just need little more tandem practice.

Yea Definatly. Although I think we should let the H2H Tourney pass before we decide to take on any full team.

just need little more tandem practice.

This is my weakness, having trouble following someone else's line & maintaining the same speed as them. Practice practice practice

Agreed like i said we need just a little more practice together as a group maybe private lounge sessions so we dont end up with any blow ins. On the other hand its up to Ben and the other Mods whether they are keen or not to enter comps. But this is the direction i would like to see the club go in. I think if we have something to look foward to and to practice for this club could probably go a long way in the GT5 drifting community.

I spose our plan of attack could be:

Take H2H Tournie as warm up.

Then challenge either team?

Sorry ben that agreed was at NIsmo lol

Yes Very good plan of attack.

For me I'd love to see most of the talented drifters rise up and try out.

For me my plan of attack is:

H2H Tournie as a refresher.

Then challenge another team.

I think we should let that slip as it is just some random tournament mr dinosaw made i feel its gonna get all muddled up because of all the different time zones wanting to race if we were to challange another team every thing can be arranged accordingly and hassle free as a group. Just my opinion.

But still, we should let it pass and let those of us who want to compete, compete. The more practise we get in under comp circumstances would be great practise. But thats just my opinion. Just like Stavingo, Im going to compete in the H2H and then go from there.

Also competing in H2H

See you there

I like the idea of comps, seems like a natural progression.
Would also like to organise some friendly inter-club competition as it will be good practice for the big stuff.

My only concern for the club would be if poorly skilled drivers we're entering comps under our name as it would damage our rep.

We need to make sure we are sending our best drifters to the comps to represent our team(like any other sport)

Maybe in the future we should set up some interclub qualifying to select the drivers that will represent our team?

AGREED! After last night I think private sessions are going to be the only way we get stuff done. Once the rooms we're filled everything got sketchy, cars were skipping all over the place and headsets were breaking up.

Leave me out of any comps:idea:

This.

I'd like to see an inter-club competition, nothing like some friendly rivalry. 👍

Should we start putting something together?

We could set up a tournament using http://challonge.com/ Maybe start with the ten most active forum members for a trial

@Rydeit

If you also read on I think he also mentions it NA only aswell so no turbo engines might have to check that though I'm sure that's what I read the only NA car I consider driving is an AE86!!!!

Yeah I think we should.

If we're gonna verse other teams then we need to figure out our best lineup.

Stuff it lets do our own tourney first haha

Round 1 is N/A FR cars. I really wasn't thinking when i said that though. I just realised all my drift cars are turbos... Might have to adjust the rules a bit...

Make it rear engined allowed aswell!

OK done

Anyone know if you remove a turbo from a z34 does it replace it with a stock turbo?

@ stavingo

If your talking bout a 350z then no these engines were NA should be a v35q if your talking bout a 300zx then it will be twin turbo stock sorry I don't know what model your talking bout do know the chassi's names of the Z cars.

Actually I have decided to drop out of the H2H Tourney. Still need a lot more practise before im ready for something like that.
