H2H Tournie IS the practise.
Its nothing big at all.

Your better off Using the H2H Tournie as a stepping stone, rather then going off drifting in some online room full of frenchmens in their Beemers.

Joined a rand french drift room, they all had m3/5's

Indeed fair point. But I'd rather practise somewhere nice and relaxed and where I'm not going to put our name in the 🤬. Just my opinion.

@ ingo

Can't say I've ever drifted with French men in beemers lol

@ nismo34

Much respect for putting the team first IMO and no disrespect to mr dinosaw but h2h seems rushed and not very well thought out with judging and timezones in mind. I watched a gtp member try to do this and it never happened and besides he's already talking bout changing the rules 2 days after announcing the tournament. People and moderators are also concerned with lack of organization. I feel if members wanna do this comp then do so in your own name southern sliderz has a large following and needs to get some things in order before we start representing as SS.

Yea that was also my concern. Everything just seemed as though it wasnt going to work. Only 3 days untill the comp and there is even the full 16 participants. Its just one of those things that need a month to organise. But good try Dinosaw. Maybe next time.

Any ways im getting off topic of tournaments starting to get bit sic of it. Whos online tonight plan on starting a private room tonight any members interested in tandem/practrice and photo ops let let me know via the thread. Plan on kicking of round 830ish im limiting the room to 10 players so let me know and i will shoot you a message via psn when im about to kick off.

Hey drifta, yer I'm up for the drifting session tonight, 8:30ish sounds good, and before we get off topic of tourneys, I think that we should have a ranking system just for our team, just say divisions similar to the wrs, just a thought

Hey man ill be keen to join the session. I've been in a couple of lobbys with you guys before.

If your talking bout a 350z then no these engines were NA should be a v35q if your talking bout a 300zx then it will be twin turbo stock sorry I don't know what model your talking bout do know the chassi's names of the Z cars.

I'm talking about the 370z.

Im very keen for a bit of online drifting.
Im sick of talking about the H2H, a lot more goes into those things then i thought... It will still be run and if it doesn't work, so be it. It's better then...
drifting in some online room full of frenchmens in their Beemers.

Hmm... I want another drift toy, but I don't wanna spend anymore than Cr.100,000 on the car itself and it MUST be Premium.

Any suggestions?

Hey there lads.

I've noticed I'm against Hayden for my first battle in the H2H, should be fun!

See you there,
Chris.

Have you got a S15 yet? If you can get enough power into it you will be suprised, and their dirt cheap!

BTW i am currently the only SS guy in the H2H. Me being eliminated by the leader of the best drift group online shouldn't hurt our rep too much, should it?

I personally would go for the '10 SS Camaro. Pretty reasonable power and price. But thats just me.

Look forward to seeing you folks online tonight

Hey thanks for the suggestions guys, I reckon I'll give the S15 a try. :D

You know what would be a good idea, if we are going to tandem, I reckon we should each stick to a tandem partner to practice with, and that tandem partner will always be your partner. (Unless there was some unforeseeable drift accident) That way when it came to tourney's and the like, we will know how to maintain good tandems, because the tandem partners will know each other's driving style.
It could work, only problem I can see is your partner not being able to practice the same time. What do you guys think anyway?

Sounds like a good idea but it would really come down to when the 2 can practise and besides, you wont be facing up against that partner in a tourney anyway so all that practise following THEIR lines and THEIR speed would be thrown out the window. Good suggestion. Maybe you could do that idea but change partners every couple weeks so you get used to a range of styles.

@ Accendo
Great idea mate but I think nismo is right every drifter has a different line and tendermng with the same guy would be a good start but a good drifter should be able to adjust his lines accordingly to drifter in front that being said maybe in group sessions running with someone for a few laps and then changing partners would maybe work better as you would be practicing with different skill level partners all night thus learning more about your capabilities it is much harder to drift with a slower partner than a faster partner and you will grow more drifting with different partners .

@ STAVINGO
No its still na just 3.7 ltr 👍

But just to start off with have a partner, maybe to just learn the ropes, then just whoever after you get the hang of it. But I suppose in the end it doesn't really matter, might as well just drift with anyone, better off for it anyway I guess.

I for one need tandem practice, but I find if my car is heavier then the opponent Im trying to follow, how do I keep up, the lighter car always drifts faster around the corner.

I like your partner idea 👍 As one would know exactly who to wait for in a congested situation. Drifting online normally gets real annoying when people just blow you off. Having a partner that you could regroup with after every corner would be brilliant. But i think the others are right, eventually you would get used to that guys line and speed, making you worse with anybody else.

As for the weight question, try taking a wider, faster line. If you manage to clip the apex from a wide line you should be able to go a lot quicker around the curves. :)

Can anyone recommend a new drift car?

I get bored easily. :D

Dodge Viper GTS '02? fully modded it has over 850BHP... you shouldn't get bored with that

Sounds good to me. I like to use cars that not many people use... I try to stay away from the s13/15's and such.

Just thought I'd mention the fact that I drift with a viper sometimes and there are heaps of people who also drift with vipers. Just sayin.

But they aren't any where near as popular as s15's. ;)

Just bought and tuned a Renault Clio V6 before. what a beast.
