Has anybody else got a Southern Sliderz room going, or should i start it?

Lounge = Private i'e Friends can join or friends of friends I believe, This is accessed via the coffee mug on a user's profile page in community

Open Lobby = Public (unless set private can you nfi don't use)

anyway my Nurb - Touge lounge is closed until later, screwing around with a mate

p.s This thread is going the way of needing it's own forum imo...(I may look into it...)

It may take me a while to re find the lightning blue metallic... But i will have a couple photo's up for you in about 10 minutes

EDIT: the lightning blue metallic is from a mini cooper (LOL) and the lightning yellow comes with the silvia fresh out of the dealership. The pictures are here...

Personally, I love it. Has the blue theme of our flag and the yellow for a bit of flare (plus alot of our sports teams use yellow to substitute for gold! Good ol' green and gold :sly:)
Anyone else have any thoughts?
Also, would be cheap. Would cost everyone a Carbon Hood, Cooper and Silvia... Not a big price to pay to have a sweet looking team livery. 👍 Good work!

Thanks, this is my personal favourite too. The price was all up just $60,100 ($29,500 for the Cooper S '07, $25,600 for the Silvia Spec R & $5000 for the CF bonnet) I feel the colours complement each other and the carbon fibre really well. As you said it has deep roots in Australia too. I think it's perfect, but what does everyone else think.
I however am partial to these colours, as they are the colours of the mighty Padthaway Lions footy team...

By the way the colour combo was your idea remember!!!

I can have 1 up in about 10-20 minutes unless someone wants to beat me to it. But I might only have it open for an hour or 2 so it probably is better if someone else has one.

If we have a few positive responses I might look at putting one together! Will work well for me too as I drift a yellow RM S15 currently so only need the Cooper chip! 👍

While we are on the subject of collecting votes for different paint schemes...
I feel that the Lightning Blue Metallic/Lightning Yellow scheme myself and Dino put forward should henceforth be known as "Aussie-Lightning"

So far we have 3 votes to make "Aussie-Lightning" the Southern Sliderz official livery.

I love the Aussie lightning name, much more creative then any I've made up ;) Before we get too cariednaway with votes though we must make sure no other SS members have any suggestions because changing votes fan get messy

so you just doing that section you showed me briefly last night? was the turn after the left big dip then right wasn't it? With the big house on the left curve? on the map is it T3 for turnaround?

May be going out tonight, but if it falls through due to weather, I'll be there

Btw since hopefully a few of the team will be there, why don't people paint their preferred team colors and we can all check them out in te sesh
