@Kris no dramas like I said bit rushed on my behalf btw watch out for Accendo he's tearing it up on the nurb now.

I will be on tonight if anyone is keen for some tandem prac I will post details this weekend some time about touge battle comp and rules and regulations beei g the weekend more people will have time to view the thread. Also if cam is still willing to offer his prize should draw more attention then my crappy prize lol.

I just got a driving force GT wheel yesterday and it is awesome fun to use but it is really hard to drift with. The controller is 100x easier to use. Does anyone else use a wheel to drift with? if you do would you be able to give me a few pointers. the wheel just seems to snap back real easy when im counter steering or i completely spin out as if im giving the car to much gas. Any help would be great, Thanks :D

That would be great since joining SS I havnt played the actual game much and spend most my time drifting now and my bank account is quickly getting emptier. my planning of this event was pretty rushed and didn't gain as much interest as I expected. If you would like to do this I will re organize the event and give plenty of notice and time for people to practice and to be interested.

Im quite the opposite... been playing the game more than drifting atm. so i have plenty of cash. This is the best way i can give back to the SS community. :D

I stand by my offer, winner gets any car they want from the dealership/online dealership.(excluding the x2010... not level 40 yet. >.<)

Don't know if I'll be able to get on much next couple day's, I have just attained a rather "rare" car which shall be showed off shorty (once it has been given a thoroughly abusive hit round Tsukuba & pics taken haha)

Anyone care to guess? There is only one rare / hard to attain car that I know of...

Does anyone else know of Any? I'e a car you can't buy or win via race?

I use a wheel won't be on till tomorrow night though I'd love to help ya
First tip turn the ffb down to 5-6 while your getting used to it
Second don't play with suspension settings to much just lower and camber
Third lower hp cars steering response is better
Fourth practice practice practice!!!!!

Thanks mate for the advice . I have the ffb on 7 so ill turn it down to 5.
I was trying to drift my silvia with about 320hp and all the weight reduction, Might buy a new one and just do a couple of performance mods and suspension cause i love the silvia :D haha.
I think its going to take ALOT of practice and getting use to i have only manged to drift the first corner of tsukuba 👎

and it has about 20k of extra HKS fun under the bonnet ;) @430HP was bone stock when we got it and had 7000km's still under 20k now and had since '2000 (he bought an r34 4dr on same day as a daily the nutter althought that is long gone lol) and worked in 2 stages over '01,02
 
Looks the same as that one that got ripped apart a few years ago. The young bloke borrowed it and thought he was a big hero infront of his mates "look at me I'll show them how it's done weyhey!".
 
Yes it does , I had met him / his dad and actually have a pic of the two next too each other @ a show on the coast many years ago...

I still have the new's paper article, with the full front page shot of the three parts of the car (I kept it as a warning to my future (now) son)...It was just a tragic accident, and as a father I can only begin to imagine the pain the father must have gone through...

My old man was in Japan at the time, and I got a phone call from him at 5:30am that morning asking where the **** his car was and if it was still in one piece as the lady who ran the business we originally bought the car through had seen the paper and rung the old man and said ring Kris and make sure he is alive! as she saw the wheels and though **** that's our car!
