well once i get my new capture card that does HDMI i can record the free runs and also setup camera angles on corners and record it.

and u want have to do it in a race either.. just means i wont be in any of the action though for those shots :(

Actually, lets just settle this with my weird ass drift.

Wheres my cookie?

no cookie mate re-post when your back wheels dont come of the track. Just my opinion Stav but to me it looks like a correction like you have overkicked the car and just saved the car. Because you practically go 180 degree's it just dosnt look good there's no angle.
If kawabata's entry had've gone any further than it did it would've been a zero run i believe that would be the most angle anyone could have before it would be considered a spin.

My opinion shave the degree's a bit more so your still locked in a drift and then my friend i will take my hat off to you.

@ Beast
What capture card you getting mate im looking at buying a PCI-E hd capture card will post the link when i find it again im pretty sure it was at techbuy.com.au

I posted a link to the capture card I am buying a few pages back. costs about $200 and has 2 HTMI slots.

i would give you a cookie but that music is gay, why no game sound??

Cause I'm recording off a camera, not a Capture Card.

That Kubwag is that the one with the propellor or the convertible one?

Either way see what time you get with a fully modded old school Fiat 500, it's diabolical in stock form.

the convertable... the other one is called the swimmerwagon. im sure i have spelt that wrong lol

Ohh yeah thats right I think thats like Schwimwagon or something, I just called it Shimmy wagon haha..

No surprise. I was using the PS3 controller and the car has my drift setup on it with only racing softs put on, so its a lil twitchy.

I just had a random unlikely-to-happen thought but I thought Id share it anyway: What if PD were to implement a system where you could build your own race cars from the ground up?
Say there is a dealership, but, unlike the one we have, It would sell bare chassis. There would be a chassis selection for every Premium car.
After you buy the chassis, there would be a "Workshop" menu option.
In there you can add all the panels to your liking. There would be a wide range of option like materials, aero factor, etc. That way you could have Carbon fibre wide bodies and stuff.
Then, you could selct the interior, like seats, how many there are, what they are made of, what style. You can also change the Speedo and other dials, select what dials you want, select style whether Digital or analog etc.
Then you could select the drivetrain and engine. There would also be a list of engines to select and drivetrain options.
Drivetrain may be limited to the chassis I.E if you are using a F430 chassis, you can select bewteen MR or AWD. If you were using a skyline chassis, you could select between AWD and FR, If it was a Honda Civic, you could selct FF, FR or AWD.
There could also be the same option for a car you already own. You could go to the workshop with the car and strip it down. You could choose to use the stock body with a different engine/drivetrain setup or rebuild as above.
Even if its like the paint system where you can only use the engines by buying the stock car themselves, they would also have to add a livery editor even if it is only for the workshopped cars. It would make the game so much more fun.

There use to be a game where u could do quite alot of that. Was called motor city online.

man that was a fun game, was like the old Hot rod game but on steroids.

you could buy a small car like an AC cobra and put a massive 502 Chev in it and get it upto 1400HP buying all the cams, pistons, crank, valves and so on. Also buy the different rate springs and also the size of wheels and tires u wanted.

Was so much more fun to mess around with that game.

it would still be running if EA didn't close down the servers 3 years after it came out.

Theres a mod you can get some were that lets you play the game offline with out needing the servers.

Its a few years to late. i traded the game in at Cashies years ago.

a bunch of guys are making a game based on it call Motor world online but they are only in the alpha stage and its taken them 3 years to get to that.
