No one said that 2.0 is coming during this maintenance, nobody has even proof that there is going to be an update tuesday/wednesday.
Im not saying there won't be one, but you'll need to hold your horses like we're used to with pd the last few months.

(TBH i also hope for a big update to come as there are 2 maintenances but Im keeping my hopes low so that I am a bit more excited when something big has come)

Any more vacations? :D

Well, not of the kind where I go away for a long time. Maybe next year.
That being said though, there's always the possibility that my PS3 will crash and burn, in which case they'll surely spam the update release button again.

I said it, about 30 days ago

Release the horses!

They always seem to release something when I'm on a business trip.

I fly out on 9/1... just sayin.

Spec2? I don't know that we'll have anything like that anytime soon. I just want my shuffle back and a course creator. That would keep me busy until 1yr through GT7 (because that's about how long it will take me to save enough $ for a PS4)

Spec 2.0 on GT5 was a response to the release of Forza 4. I think it got released slightly before Forza 4 came out, which I believe was an attempt to re-ignite some interest in GT5.

There's no big racing titles coming out on PS3 this year, but Project Cars is due for release at somepoint on PS4. Maybe we'll see something around then?

Did everyone at least remember to put on their tinfoil hats prior to posting in this thread?

Wow just saw a post about this app Motorsport Manager over at ISRTV

If only GT6 B-Spec will have such levels of game play, just watch 2 mins of the video from the start and you will know why. It's bloody full on management sim.

PD should really take a look and can learn a thing or two. This game is only $5 bucks guess how much their development budget is.

I don't know, it feels like the longer we go without any of the real big features being added I just really think PD might just be dragging their feet until it's time to announce GT7. (I'm not saying that in a bad way towards PD at all, just don't know a better way to describe it). I was just posting in the Zahara thread and I couldn't help but realize that announcement video was 6 months ago :guilty:, it just 'feels' like GT6 is being pushed to the background a bit.

Not saying we won't see any more updates (we've got the new VGT being added in Sept sometime, if it weren't for the VGTs there wouldn't be much of any new additions for GT6!) but I really don't see a huge 2.0 update with the advertised features coming to GT6.

''but I really don't see a huge 2.0 update with the advertised features coming to GT6.''.....

Man don't tell me that, I'm really hoping for the course maker and B-spec, Y eah I know I'm in the minority with the B-spec thing but sometimes I just love to relax and watch the beautiful replays from my boring bob...lol
Anyway I hope they don't keep us waiting too long for the updates or I'll be like...

My guess would be maybe a Spec II, if it is at all in their plans, around Christmas time in order to spark up Holiday sales. Sometime in November maybe, but who knows.

The option to widen tires. That's all that I want.
Of course I would want new Photomode locations but wide tires is a possibility.

I would actually not mind B-Spec returning, just as it was in GT4 instead of separate like in GT5. It would easily make those enduros more bearable for people who don't want to do those races by themselves and if I'm honest, I kinda enjoyed having my own little team of drivers.

In gt4 there were a spec and b spec points that would be awesome to bring them back. The easier the race was the less points you got and the harder the race was the more points you got. Fun times with this A spec and b spec points.

Ahh GT4 B spec 24 hour races... I admit I would start a race in B spec and then go to bed. Recently 2 friends and I completed a 100% A spec 24 race around Nurburgring in one go. I did the longest stint, which was at least 2 hours, maybe 3 in the Sauber C9.
