How weird as I just don't like the Arta NSX at all (I'll trade it for an X1 if someone has one going). I did put a turbo on, but have tested it without and its just too unpredictable for me. Got quite a few of the others and its probably the Calsonic GTR for me.

Saying that I'm having most success racing online against superGTs in my Ford Falcon, its so planted - perfect for the 'Ring.

I avoided the SuperGts, because they look really ugly from the outside, but I bought two of them and fell in love. Awesome cockpits, excellent handling. Take a SuperGT out onto the Ring with racing tires and the Green Hell is just a pleasant drive through the mountains.

Noob question, this Lexus car that I'm seeing pics of, is this in the game? I don't see the Lexus as an option on those lists.

I just bought my first Super GT last night and love it. I got the Xanavi GT-R. I was a little disappointed though to find that there was no rear view mirror (that I could see) and when I used the look behind button it was the only premium car I've seen with no interior view of the car in the rear view. Most Premium cars show you the interior when you look back. Seems like I might have picked the wrong Super GT?

If it doesnt have a rear window, you wont see a rear interior view. This applies to every premium, the Peugeot, the Zonda, the 787b, etc.

Some of the Super GT cars (like the Lexus IS350) has an onboard rear view camera (monitor) installed on the center dash. I think the NSX has one too..

If you're talking about the A-Spec Championship then you should go with a GT500 car. You will be left in the dust with the RX7 or IS350. Or any GT300 cars for that reason...

Nah not true. The GT300 cars (that I've tried anyway) can be modded up to GT500 spec. The RE-A rx-7 has so much grip I usually race with sports tyre just to make it fair!

I got the Honda Takata Dome NSX '03 from the 1000 Ticket. Since then I've been hooked on the Super GT cars and it made me looking for online racing.

I now have quite a few of the Super GT cars but the Takata '03 is still my favourite Super GT car, because how it sounds. I'm kind of dissapointed how most cars sound in GT5 with the exception of the Takata '03. It has this high pitch high rev race car sound like no other car on the game. Too bad its not a premium car.

This is of course down to personal preference.

Just to clarify for some people, GT300 and GT500 cars are both racing in SuperGT.
JGTC is the old name before it change to that format of racing.

It's like LeMans series I believe.

Every engine sound is a disappointment to me. Although NSX is better than most. Best in the Super GTs.

I bought one of the NSX Super GT cars last night and was extremely disapointed with the engine sound. It just doesn't sound like a car to me......really digitised. The Nissan GTR SGT car I thought sounded better......but overall like you I am very unhappy with the engine sounds in GT5.

I think there is something to do with the playback of the samples that makes them very low quality..

I'm going to buy every Super GT car. At this point I got around 4 of those GT-R's and 2 NSX's.
Same but theres one car i particularly want the ARTA Garaiya (JGTC) '03. Anyone got this or want to trade it for something if they have? :)

I love driving the Super GT/JGTC (300 and 500 class) cars. They are just so well balanced, and so fast. I'm in the process of collecting them all - buying all the older ones I see pop up in the UCD/OCD, makes it a little difficult to save up for higher end cars :)

.

Agree. My first GT500 (JGTC) i got was the Takata Dome NSX '03. As I wrote, engine sound is so much attractive than any car in GT5. In the first racing league I entered a premium car was required so I bought the '06 model of the Takate Dome NSX. It sounds like a big fan, like a big airconditioner changing rev. I just couldn't drive it with that sound.

If you're looking for a car with decent engine sound, I can really recommed the '03 model. It's now available in the on-line dealership. You won't be disapointed.

Unfortunately I can only drive from the cockpit view so standard cars are a no go.

Not true. I finished the Championship in the ARTA Garaiya and I destroyed my competition. You just have to upgrade the engine.

Of-course. But like the dude before me said, he asked about having to run it with no Mods. That would be impossible.

I'm falling more and more in love with the SuperGT/JGTC cars...

My current favourites would happen to be the '97 Castrol TOM'S Supra for the GT500 cars and the '08 Cusco Dunlop Subaru Impreza as far as the GT300 cars go.

Woodone Supra is my favourite. Awesome machine.👍

I have this one too. I picked it at random. Is there much difference between the various super GT cars? Between nissan super gt cars?

In other words: should I invest in more than one super GT?
