Yeah, to say the least. The later Duesenberg SSJ's had a supercharged straight 8 with 4 valves per cylinder, 400 horsepower, and a three speed manual. Downright awesome for 1937/1938. Unfortuneatly, these cars didn't have A/C.
(Not that you needed it in a car like this)

Erm... I doubt it would be a Stude. They made more 'average' cars. I think A/C would inflate the cost too much back then.

Yep, I think so. I once read in Motor Trend that "The DMC DeLorean was better than the Bricklin in every conceiveable way. It was slower though." Also, don't forget the Yugo, the little car that couldn't quite (Genius-to-Idiot Ratio: 1.5:2.5)

It was a 6 cylinder produced in 1929...that's pretty much all I know.
