Special rally event question

What's the best car to use for the first event? I think the limit is 245hp.

I asked this on gamefaqs and 20 people responded with 20 different cars, so I wasnt sure if there was a consensus here on what's best to use.

Well I used a Golf V GTI. Really though, any FF car with 240 bhp will win comfortably if your the slightest bit compentent at the wheel.

[whipser] Toyota Celica used for $20,000 and slap on some mods – intakes /exhaust/ and maybe expensive turbo, weight reduction and required rally tires – snow / dirt etc. Just keep it below 245 HP

It will have a very wide powerband and 2nd gear will take forever – but you should still be shaving off 3-5 seconds every stage vs competition.

Oh yeah, take off traction control – trust me on this.

Used a Lancia Delta, which can easily do the intermediate (345hp limit) aswell if you tune it some more.

Ok let me ask this, are there any premiums I can buy right now that will work? I cant be spending the next week waiting for a lancia delta to show up in the used car section. I hate how they have this set up.

I used the '97 Civic Type R. It worked well.

Edit: Also, you can buy it right now from the dealership.

I found a Focus ST '06, 221hp, FF..... Will that work with some upgrades? Or should I go with an AWD car?

I just want to find something that will also work in the intermediate events.

You can gold the beginner one with an FF car pretty easily. I just used a different car for the intermediate. I would recommend a WRX STi or an Evo. I used an STi.
