1. PD implements a game update that fixes the glitch.
2. Players that have abused the bug get most/all their experience taken away or a ban from online play.
3. Players will rant an GTP on how PD is stupid.
4. Arguments will start, resulting in a he say, she say.
5. Repeat.

I think item #2 is quite improbable.

Totally agree, and for #2 I'll bet they go with the ban... just for the fact that going through all the logs is a total pain and time consuming.

Guy 3: "Wahhhh Wahhhh I didn't find this first so it's BS and it's lagging my server wahhhh"

Such a stupid argument. IF this gets fixed there will just be another one. People have been doing this for a while and it didn't affect anyones game before they knew about it.

Arguing for it is just as stupid. It's a glitch. So it's a problem with the game. So it might get fixed. Or maybe they could leave it alone and fix something that would actually help the game.

There are bigger problems to fix first.

I laugh everytime someone is sure PD will ban users for doing something...
 
Lol, Ban? Nobody is "hacking" the game or "stealing" exclusive contents.
This is a massive glitch, of course people is going to use this error, just like going out on sarthe or top gear for fun, with the only difference that SR7 have just one sector etc and it's possible to make money. They have to "ban" who leave such a big mistake here.
They'll just fix it (easily).

2. Players that have abused the bug get more XP and money than they know what to do with, while others keep grinding
3. Players will rant an GTP on how it is so unfair.
4. I will laugh on those hate threads.

I joined one of these games, so funny. Heard loads of teenagers shouting online, can you turn that off? (this is the first time i've been online).

Anyway then i saw a bunch of cars ramming into a wall, and then drove through it and off they went, next thing i know im 90 laps behind. So i followed them, found a spot and omg..... All that free space, you can do donuts the size of china. Not sure what the fuss is though, i got like 10k credits and a tiny bit of experience, that said i had only completed 2 laps, lol.

This will have to be patched soon.

Haha, i did exactly the same - you have to just out of curiosity don't you ?! 1st attempt i couldn't figure out where to go once i'd got through the wall and landed back on the motorway. 2nd time in a room of only 3 i won and got 1,450,000+ credits and 50,000+xp so i did it again in a room of 4 and got over 1,800,000 and 90,000+ xp. Great stuff but it makes you dizzy and near enough gives you arthritus in your left thumb, haha ! Think it's enough for me, will leave it from now on ! :)
 
did they just shut it down or was it a ordinary server failiure? just got booted from server :)

found this somewat funny for 6 mins, then really boring

hope they fix soon to avoid server overloads....

And i obv dont have Capital letters on my keyboarD.

You obviosly never played a MMORPG. :)

There was a glitch in FF11 that allowed people to dupe items that had insanely low droprates on retardedly easy fights, so overall just a chore to get. What did Square-Enix do? They fixed the glitch and PERMANENTLY banned everyone from the game.

problem with you people going online for the first time, is that you chouse wrong servers, I have found many good servers. And those people raming others get kicked, at least if the host is normal.

Anyone else ever done this- yesterday I was on a lobby doing this and when everyone was trying to get into the wall I just smashed everyone out the way, got in the wall straight away then started beeping at everyone as I drove though the wall :lol:, kept me entertained anyway :D

Lmao I wasnt tryin to show off about doing something on a game to a bunch of people ive never met :lol:, on the first post I was just sayin this has been around for days now im surprised gtplanet wasnt one of the first places to pick up on it, and im actually crap at it im always the first one there yet i always come 4th 5th :ouch:

Well, but a mmorpg like FF11 is something that you pay for, it's a different thing, because using glitch and stuff like that you are taking advantage on other paying user, so they NEED to be more..drastic, we are talking about real money, in this case.
Playing online in gt it's free, they don't need to be too serious. Everyone can have the cars in the game, it's not important how fast. So a grinder was taking advantage making money faster than me that i've never duped/rubberbanded/grinded and everything? I don't think.
[It's not online i know, but because online is free is included in the price of the game, so it's the same]

Very true, the amazing part was everyone saying look at what I can do. I can't think of one MMORPG that I have been on that didn't have this pop up at on time or another. All got handled the same way, glitch fixed, somebody got the the ban hammer express. It just how it seemed to go, when the AUP or TOS where ignored. Someone has to be the Mole in "Wack a Mole."
