More f1 cars, old and new

Tracks
A drag strip

Everything from past GT's as well as more cars (specifically old muscle) and tracks.

My GT5 Spec 2.0 Wish List

Tracks:

Real World:
Watkins Glen
Spa-Francorchamps
Magny-Cours
Twin Ring Motegi
Mosport
Perhaps add in some Short Tracks (Less than a mile long such as Eldora, Knoxville or Bristol Motor Speedway)

Original
Red Rock Valley Speedway
Apricot Hill

City
SSR11
Long Beach (They can call it Los Angeles lol)

Cars
Race Cars
More Le Mans Prototypes Please! (ie: Riley & Scott Mk III, Welter Racing LMP, Ferrari 333 SP)
Daytona Prototypes (Europeans may not like them, but they can race hard!)
Sprint Cars to go along with the Dirt tracks as suggested above.
No particular everyday street cars in mind

Exotic Cars
Caparo T1
Gumpert Apollo

Custom Tracks
Heres an idea. Start off with Level ground, and if you want, do a little Landscaping. Raise or lower the landscape to how you please. Also change the banking settings. Some people would like to create circuits like Talladega, Bristol, and Charlotte Motor Speedway (Mostly aimed at NASCAR fans). So a change to the banking settings would be great.

Now as for actual circuit design, perhaps use a custom editor, similar to that of the NoLimits Roller Coaster Simulator. That would make things interesting when designing a circuit. Who knows, someone might be successful at replicating the Corkscrew of Laguna Seca.

Other Features
I'd like to see the AI become more competitive (as others have obviously posted) as well as more situationally aware.

As far as anything else is concerned I have nothing original that what has been posted.

Something like NoLimits would be freaking sick.

I'm hoping mileage counts for everything when 2.0 is released, I hate going online in a free run lobby and none of the mileage counts towards the mileage on my car and the total mileage I've driven.. I'd love to see Porsches to, but we all know that isn't going to happen, so I guess I'll be happy with a few RUFs.. The 997 RGT is closest we can get to a GT3 RS

The host (at least) must be able to inspect every configuration/setting/option of each competitor's car! Especially engine work, lightening, drivetrain, gearbox, and suspension!

Do you not read other threads, PD cannot do porches they dont have a licence.

I didn't know one needed a license to model porches. Only the owner's (of said porch) permission. Wonder how detail-oriented a porch could be in the hands of PD.

Would it take them six months? Maybe more?

That depends on how detailed they get. If they only do surface textures, it should be pretty simple (especially if they reuse pieces/textures). However if they model the structure, it could take a while. Then there is the matter of all the bolts and screws holding it together. Those things don't model themselves, you know...

Just imagine it in Gt specs.

A Porsche on the other hand, will not happen.
Maybe a new RUF.

More premium street cars. Mainly new American cars. New mustang gt and luguna edition and the cts-v cars. More premium race cars, tracks from the older games, and better AI.

:tup:FF/REW/Lap Skip on replays for the photographers among us especially.
:tup:Time difference to other/nearest competitors.
:tup:New and/or classic tracks (el capitan, complex string, original rome...)
:tup:If they only model 1 premium, make it the M3 CSL (okay, maybe the new M5 also...)
:tup:Qualifying.
:tup:PP to include all variables, including tyres, trans etc.
:tup:Some 'fun' stuff (but not involving schwimmwagens)
:tup:More Expert Seasonals
:tup:Hand over to Bob during A spec endurance races.
:tup:Adjustment for wheel/tyre size as well as rim style
:tup:More RM

And absolutely anything else they can think off to keep the smug look of Xbox owners faces when Forza 4 comes out.

oh, and world peace too. (think of those poor, unemployed newsreaders though...)

I'm hoping for an option to remove pre-made liveries from race cars and putting quieter exhaust on them as to make them more similar to street cars.

Just a thought, do you reckon PD could use the models of the cars from all of the past GTs? Just revamp them a bit so they reach GT5 quality, I don't care if they're standard, and pop 'em in GT5?

I'd like to closely model an unpopular local infield track as a custom track! The current editor is worthless in this regard. It would be nice to get some practice time in before heading to the track!

It would be nice if we could share custom tracks with others, maybe be able to gift them...

More real life track eg. Shanghai, sepang , spa etc.
Also incar view for standard car, hoping new cars can be added
Koenigsegg ccxr
One77
Lambo gallardo superleggera
Ferrari 360 cs

More premium Acura's and Audi's maybe a few bikes espically the worlds perfect sport bike GSX-R 750 that way I can split lanes on ya. But hey if 2.0 disappoints I will just fall back onto Forza 4, nothing like some compettition for Kaz/PD/Sony.

Beating the dead horse? Saves for the enduros!

Well then they wouldn't be endurance races if you split them up over 10 days now would they...

I hope they add tracks, cars, and features that they said they would have in the game but have not yet released.

I think that PD has a bunch a stuff that they couldn't get finished in time for GT5's release. Perhaps they were finishing up tracks and cars all this time.

how many of us has the time to race for 24 hours straight or willing to keep their PS3 on for longer than 40 hours at a time if they pause it mid race?

Well GT5 is supposed to be as close to real life as technologically possible; hence the "Simulator" tag. Maybe there could be a rule that enduro saves could only be done 6 or so hours apart to simulate how fresh drivers are alternated IRL races.

drift was left out and rally/carting/NASCAR wes barley implemented honestly
i also heard there were gonna be more drift cars/f1's /rally's so lets expect that and el captain was seen and probably pikes peak

Ability to save a garage and use it in split-screen at a friend's house like the older games. Also the ability to save replays as a video.

Yes but IRL, there are at LEAST 2 drivers per car with a max amount of hours that a driver could race. plus most people have other things they can do around the house while doing a 24 hour race, such as laundry, cooking, cleaning, and sleeping lol i'm just saying I wouldn't keep my PS3 on for a super extended period of time like that especially if i can't get a break during a race unless i pause it
