Speed run tune (Route X)

Nearly any LMP will do that speed. Toyota GT-ONE goes past 300 MPH so it's the easiest to get up there. Aero: min/max Ride Height: max/min springs: minimum equal (fr+rear). camber+ toe = 0. there you go. tweak the rest.

The nardo vw would go past 430 km/h easily with the right tune with the suspension and transmission

are you guys able to actually fill out a tune sheet for me please? wanna get a fast car on route x to do 430+ no slipstream and still have room in the gears for slipstreaming

so why have the front as high as it can go? is it some kinda bug or? anyways thanks for the info

ok with gt one i got 455.7 offline testing (speed test thing) online i get 458-460...... anyway i can get it EVEN faster?

Maxing the front downforce would cause drag

Try ballast on the front. And try to reach the max speed at the rev limiter in the red zone).

MadMax

for just speed on the lmps i will make the front max hight and the back the lowest and softest suspension. It seems to make the cars all gain 10 or more mph. My theory is that it gets the rear wing out of the air better. The only downside is that the car is much harder to control in the corners.

got mine toyota GT-ONE to 575 kph using slip streaming with another 2 gt-ones, x11 noobs were mad as, cuz they were only maxing at 480 kph

It's even funnier when said noobs are overtaken by the SL600 doing over 350mph whilst drafting.
If you just wanna beat 430kmh you can do that with several road cars without drafting - TVR Speed 12, Ford GT '06, Mercedes SL600 (R230) and Cadillac Cien.
LMP's are ridiculously easy to get up to mega speeds, as already mentioned, but are almost impossible to corner and maintain these speeds.

(If you wanna see just how fast, head over to this thread, where we have tested over 400 cars' top speeds offline over the 10km standing speedtest)

I regularly run a drafting room, and generally don't see a lot of action below 300mph. I test all my cars drafting abilities using arcade mode, and have even had some classic muscle cars show capabilities of drafting 300+mph

(I've changed my gearing and managed even more with this car since, and I'm still not finished fiddling!)

What's the deal with boost on and draft strong? When I was breaking in my Cuda (after restoring it), it drove about 340mph on the straight which was just as fast as the "train" we had with x1, veyron, enzo, etc and this with only a quick bloody tune.

Drafting speeds are pointless.

,,,Drafting speeds are pointless.

Hence why I didn't bother to add them into the spreadsheet for the topspeed thread. If it was consistently achievable without "special circumstances" there would be no problem.

You don't actually need the boost on or strong drafting to get the SL up to those speeds, but with some cars it really is a necessity. I run my lounge with strong draft and full boost but I also make it abundantly clear that it's just for fun and just trying to find out how fast you can get your cars to go.
