With the GTP NASCAR Truck Series done its time for the teams to return North Carolina and work on the trucks for next season.

Now that the action has ended its time for talks to start. Should be lots of driver movement during the off-season.

Congratulations to the champion.

With the pole over I have decided to cover the top 3 series in the pole.

1. Continental Tire Sport Car Challange
2. TOCA
3. American Le Mans Series

Expect a 3 nice rights about the series in the next few days.

After a fantastic first season. It's time to kick off another great season of the Continental Tire Sports Car Challange.

A few new cars have joined this season. Ford thought it would be fun to join the ST class party this season with the 2006 Focus ST. The other car that joined the ST stables is the Mazda Axela.

A few cars have also lost funding & there for had to leave the series. Those cars are:

GS: RUF RGT, Mazda RX8,& Dodge Challanger

ST: RUF 3400

There were also a few tracks that heard of how great season 1 was & decided to join in the series.

New Tracks: Autumn Ring, & Grand Valley

Leaving Tracks: Cape Ring South, & Nurburgring GP/D

This season should be good. See you there.

After an amazing season 1 of CTSCC the series held a preseason race last night.

It was quite the race if you ask this reporter. There were 5 GS cars & 3 ST.

It was a 2 horse race in ST between a Honda & a Ford. In the end the Honda won the race with 2 Fords finishing on the bottom of the podiums.

In GS it was a different story. All 5 cars were ready to race. Well except 1 Subaru. The other 4 cars were all ready right from the start. It was mostly a 1 manufacture race. The Aston Martin V12 Vantage was the dominate car with 3 in the race. But there was another manufacture ready to play. The BMW M3 was not gonna let the 3 Aston Martins get away so easily.

After 20 amazing races TOCA has crowned a driver, team,& manufacture champion with 4 races left.

The driver that one the championship is Spurgy who also brought RPM the team which also finished up the manufacture championship.

This all happend by having Spurgy win all three races in Indy today.

RPM has announced that Spurgy will return next season. The car is yet to be announced.

Last week the creator of TOCA Furi announced the cars & schedule for season 7.

ALMS Race Rewind:

The week the American Le Mans Series went to the streets of Monaco.

This was a race filled with engine failures & broken parts.

The PC class was finished when all but one car wrecked. The final result was Red Party Hat winning the race by default.

The GT battle on the other hand was very competative right down to the finish. Ghskilla & Stupidstormy fought for the win right down to the wire.

Seven drivers started in GT but Team Extreme retired early in the #50 Corvette with suspension & engine troubles.

The rest of the field kept going with no problems.

Then 1 car blew a engine which caused a domino effect in the GT class.

The #50 car came out of the pits 20 laps later but was very slow. The team kept bringing the car in for minor repairs.

At the end of the race there were 3 drivers left fighting for the win with the #50 still moving slowly around the track. In the end Ghskilla has won the race with Stormy finishing a close second.

This week the Continental Tire Sports Car Challange heads to the season opening Daytona.

As the time to prep the cars is winding down there's a lot of questions rising from many fans.

Many fans have asked the same question."Will there be more ST cars than last season?"

Many teams are still arriving at the track. Some GS & ST cars just hit the a yesterday. There was a 5 car wreck in the bus stop last night during testing.

Some of the NASCAR guys were seen walking around the garage yesterday.

CTSCC Race Rewind:

After what was a very long week of practice the teams qualified for the first race of the season.

It was a great race by all the drivers if you ask this reporter.

B. Dub had to park early in the GS race due to a engine problem. Y. Tel parked later in the race due to a big wreck in 2 & 3.

Late in the ST race F. Lipe parked the Extreme Racecars Home Depot Ford Focus with engine & suspension problems.

With 5 laps to go in the GS race J. King blew his engine just after getting out of the bus stop.

After a very eventful race the final result was F. Seth winning the GS class race with C. Dayton finishing a close second place. G. Thomas rounding out the podium.

The ST race finish was very similar with Q. Chloe winning & T. Watson finishing a close second. J. Wright rounded out the podium.

After a long crazy season all the teams return to their shops. so they can settle down & enjoy Christmas.

After the holidays the teams will begin talking to the agents of all the free drivers.

Some drivers have already found a home with teams.

Extreme Racecars, RPM,& RB are all have signed their drivers.

Extreme Racecars has built onto the shop so they can build cars for both the main team & the feeder team.

S. Urgo signed a multi-year contract with RPM after the amazing championship winning season they had together. RPM also has a feeder team with F. Flinn.

N. Jack signed with RB Motorsports.

The drivers leading the charge for Extreme Racecars & Team Kellog's Racing will be G. Korting, P. Duke, M. Straight,& D. Xaevor rounding out the group.

Invicta Team IRT is back this season to fight for the team championship. This time they have a different driver helping lead the charge. R. Oswald will be helping lead the charge.

There are also some teams that came late in the season. A. DeYoung has brought T.G.G to the TOCA party in hopes of winning the independent championship.

There are lots of free agents left to pick from. But they will wait until the holidays are over to be signed.
