I don't have any cars specifically tuned for this so I may monopolize last place tonight. I'm going for the trifecta, the triple crown, hitting for the cycle, the hat trick. You guys know what I mean.

Was a year ago this week I first raced with the Spinning Arrows Club. Still finish last, still have fun. Thanks guys for being awesome. Hope to get at least one more year with you. ;)

Do mods really have nothing better to do than hound posts and gang them together? It's not like people are just replying "BUMP" in a single post. :odd:

It's roughly the same for me. The drunken Mario Kart race at Autumn Ring was towards the end of the night on my first attendance.

I'm pretty sure they'd rather not have to clean things up after us all the time. Without GTP's unusual rules it would be a far poorer forum, I read a lot of the threads on the site & it's great quality all round (mostly). I think it's an unpopular opinion in this club but it really does make the site better.

We know but we keep or "I" keep double, triple, quadruple posting without even thinking about it , but not trying to mess around or trying to get the mods mad! Sorry mods! and I'll try not to do it at least not that often.

The problem is in replying. To be GTP correct... I have to edit the reply I'm replying to, if I'm just replying to a single thought within the post. Seems like a recipe for hacked-up-gnarley-edited posts. I guess thats better?

You can highlight any portion of a post & add that to the queue of +Quotes or select that portion to be quoted for your reply.
In an edit, not as many options are available, or at least they aren't for me on mobile, so it can get fiddly (especially with the terrible problems I sometimes have with the Android keyboard software) but I reckon the results are worth it.
It's really not down to any opinions we have though. It's Jordan's house, Jordan's rules & we've agreed to them by signing up. Sometimes it might seem extraneous but for the sake of risking the good standing of our memberships, we might as well just follow the rules & we'll all be ok to carry on "meeting" here, in our awesome club. :) :cheers:

I have the game loaded up right now but I'm doing other things around the house & watching England hammer Australia at cricket. It's a 5 day match that started yesterday, I have a ticket for Sunday but it looks like it will be over by then. After that I'll be busy for 2 weeks.

@FergusMik's minis is starting up again today, I think it's in about an hour & a half. Check his thread, I'm hoping to make the 1st hour. :cheers:

5 DAYS? That's ridiculously long, how on earth does it take that long to play ONE game? I'm not knocking it, just how, that's so mind-boggling.

Also, Manny, that mariokart video is the best GT video ever, I could not stop laughing.

It's a series of 5 matches, each of those matches can last up to 5 days. England are 2-1 up in the series & looking like winning this one tomorrow morning to claim the series win with one match to play. :cheers:
