Ok maybe iI wasnt very clear by what I meant. I mean while drifting through a corner squeeze between two of your competitors or two computer cars.Again sorry some of them are dark I fogot to lighten the photos when taking them.

So you mean, slide inbetween the other competitors as you drift, to break them up..
Therefore pushing them out of line and giving them a slower corner, giving you the advantage.and putting you infront.

Well, ive never drifted in a race, i might give it a bearl.

heh, if sliding between or around other race cars is what you meant, then I know one guy who does that very very often, Mike from Team FBI, and he's a master of it as well. :)

I dont know if some exhibition drifters know it, but it's SOOO DAMN FUN!!

Arcade:
Merc AMG E55 at Suzuka, N2's, no quick power increase or weight reduction:eek:
Lol I already adviced this car 3 times now. Dont you get sick of it? YES YOU DO, SO GIVE IT A TRY!

You crack me up with that E55 man.

And DRIFTN, there is no possible way that a drifter could run an entire race in a rear wheel drive car and not give in to the urge to slide at least one turn. You know it has at least happened by mistake a few times. You know gas it too much at corner entry and get a little tail happy and just can't seem to figure out how to straighten it out for some reason. 💡 :sly:

I do it all the time and usually make the turn faster than if I were gripping it. Easy to wreck though, that caused about half of my loses.

Well that is why I use awd cars for drift racing. Better cornering capabilities while drifting than rwd. I didn't actually hit either of the cars but I put the nose of my car in front of the Acura in order to make him slow down because as we all know if you get close enough to a cpu car in a corner in front of it, it will slow down. It was interesting because the musting came from the inside passed me then I came from the outside and in between both cars and shot through.

lol in other words....AI SUCKS!
if you get near them, they do either 1 of 2 things(maybe both iono)
1. slow down and give you the win
or
2. ramm you for no reason <_<

haha mid-drift a eg6 ramned into me and i spun all the way out to the grass until i hit the wall <_<

Your right, how could i resist?

I had an incident with my RX7.. i was drifting in trial mountains past that first tunnel. Then came the 90 degree turn, everything was good until a stupid bot car rammed into my tail making me spin out and eat shiznit into the walls (facing the other way). lol I love drifting exhibition mode but i hate it when bots act stupid as hell. I also love it when i see their cars next to me while drifting.

Do like me and Vixen. Ram em back while u're drifting into a corner. Go in faster and hit them from the side and push em out. Sometimes, outta spite I'll just ram em straight on from the side and push them into those jutted out walls where your car can get stuck? Or better still, into the pit lane... ;)

lol ok that's without a doubt make drift faster than grip hahaha
i remember i did that for the special condition 2nd rally race
i rammed it from the outside pushing it in and the nose of its car got stuck on the apex so he kept on ramming the apex of the hairpin lol

I did it to the guys ion the Motegi High Speed course. The egg shaped one? Rammed the leader into the dividing wall at the pitlane. Managed to lap him 3 times before he went into the pit for a 4th lapping...:P

I said split the defense as in the pictures above, not ram to death killer.LOL

I think alot of people are missing the point here. There must be two or more cars blocking your path, not one. This isn't,"Did you ever ram your opponent?". The idea here is squeezing in between two or more of your opponents.

This one time, I was doing a speed race in an NSX, and I was going to lose and by some fluke I accidently mis-calculated my exist, lost control, slid, slammed into the leader coming off the corner, which caused me to recover, and I won, hahaha.

Yeah, I've done that in the 70's cup with my stock +lsd +200kg balast 240zx. It liked to go sideways and I passed two cars sideways by cutting through them. I generally like using ai cars as slalom cones that move whenever I'm in a race against slower cars (like 1000 Miles! using a Shelby Cobra)

yes lol ive done that *a lot*......bad thing to do in endurance races (you can watch the tires change to pretty colors :dopey: )

All I ever do is drift around other cars, I go into a track like Autumn Ring Mini, select Track Meet, and trail the other cars, drift the inside line of a hairpin and make some real clean passes. And drift next to a car thats gripping.
