Hello forum, quick question: when creating sponsor stacks or sponsor walls (as I’ve seen them called) for your liveries, what sponsors do you include in the stack? Picture for reference.

I used to use sponsor stacks in my earlier liveries. Stopped for a couple of reasons.
1. I try to coordinate the colours on my liveries, and that I make the sponsors fit in with the colours selected.
2. I prefer for the smaller sponsors to be in a line along the bottom of the car

And some stacks available had brands that I don't think would appear together.

I can tell you from real world experience that the stack is usually a combination of the following:
  • Sponsors that aren't paying enough for larger branding on the car.
  • Partners of the team.
  • Suppliers of the team (which is why it's sometimes referred to as a supplier board).
  • Driver's personal sponsors (sometimes).
  • Sponsors who's branding isn't visible side-on.
If this is for your own from scratch livery then probably think of the following:
  • Who's supplying the wheels.
  • Who's providing garage tools.
  • Who's the merchandising partner.
  • Who's racewear & teamwear partners.
  • Who's the IT partner/supplier.
  • Who's the lubricants and fuels partner.

I think like this for all of my sponsor decals. There's a ranking of importance, starting from engine oil to make the car live, then suspension, brakes, wheels, and tires. After that can be accessories like race suit brands, safety equipment brands, that kind of thing.
