I can't remeber where it oriinated from but it was mentioned on TopGear (hence the BBC reference on the site). I don't know why they'd reference the fact the BBC mentioned it though since they just took the piss.

That looks so incredibly fake.

And of course you know what I have to say about the people who'd buy that. ;)

 its not even convincing on their own website.

I've got to say I've seen some pretty sad car 'mods' in my time, but that has to take the biscuit.

Just a note to say that any self respecting Aussie would hate this product, and if an Aussie did invent it, then they should be taken out into the back paddock and blown away with both barrels of a shotgun. In Aus, I generally find its very hard to keep dust and mud OFF cars. Customers of this product must all be inner-city yuppy idiots who want a tough image and feel they need to justify their silly 4WD without actually driving it. Very smart.

I think it actually originated in Australia. That's where I first heard of its use.
Yeah, we use it to make mud wrestling look more exciting.

I think any Aussie or American can actually find a mud hole without having to drive TOO far. And lots of dirt roads. You Europeans have been around so long, even the smallest little road is paved with cobblestones 100 years old.

You could spray it onto yourself to give yourself that "outdoors chic" look.

I'll sell packets of mud powder for $3.00, all you have to do is add water then put it on your car. Way cheaper than that spray on stuff.

Possibly used for a prank... But I can't find a legitimate way to use that stuff other than that.... I wonder if anyone actually bought and used it on their cars for the looks (Seriously... I've seen a muddied truck before and it looks nothing like that) :dunce:

I've never owned a truck I DIDN'T slather to the point that I couldn't tell what color it originally was. But this stuff is retarded. IT squirts on--it doesn't even come in a spray bottle! Your neighbors would have to be pretty stoopid to not know the difference. And I can think of a dozen different ways to prank someone's car than by squirting brown frosting on it that is supposed to look like mud.
