The car is based off the Aileron Coupe, and built to GTE specifications. It will begin racing next year in 2012. I hope it comes to the 24 Hours of LeMans.

So...does that mean it'll be in ALMS?

Anyway,GT2 is now known as GTE Pro. GTE Pro is for newer GT cars, basically the same as our loving GT2 cars, except now paddle shifters are legal.

I hope that it will feature at the 24 Hours of Le Mans next year, it looks great.

The only one other image available:

Looking at Spykers past efforts, I´d say no ALMS. Probably LMS and Le Mans. Maybe, and just maybe ILMC, in wich case they will be stateside at least for PLM.

Looks neat.

The orange on grey paint scheme is sensational.

How come ACO just didn't promote the GT2 cars using paddle shift tech to GT1 and the rest of the current GT2 as the new GT2?

GT2 + paddle shift tech + more power = new GT1?

I have NEVER hated any variation of the Spyker C8. This car is equally beautiful. Best wishes to the Spyker Squadron.

The Gt1 monnicker is owned by SRO I believe, so ACO simply calls the GT class "GTE" - Gran Tourisme Endurance. It is divided into two classes as you say, but basically they are the same class, it´s the drivers that differs. Pro and Am, with the Am class also running last years cars. So next year, there will be paddleshifters in Am too!
