The GT-MES is a 8-race weekly series including cars from the Gr.2 and Gr.3 classes, competing in 40-minute endurance races. The Gr.2 class is scheduled as the „Pro“-class with the fastest drivers and the Gr.3 class is scheduled for „gentlemen drivers“ who want to enjoy the driving and not to push it to the limit every lap. As missing races is very likely, only points from 5 best finishes will count for the championship.

While balance of performance will be off, all cars will have manually adjusted weight settings. After a race, weight adjustments will be distributed to the drivers, with more of each going to the higher-placed competitors. A maximum of 2 drivers can race with the same car manufacturer per class, and a manufacturer can only appear in one class.

Race Type: 40-minute endurance race (1h for the final race)
Start Type: In-game rolling start
Tire/Fuel settings: 6x/4x
Mechanical damage: Heavy
Visible damage: On
Tuning: On
Tires: RM-RS - You need to use both of these at least once per race, does NOT apply to wet races (For more have a look at explanations)!
Corner cutting penalties: Weak
Flags and other penalties: On
Boost: Off
Slipstream: Realistic

To get on the entry list, please dm me, @Emilius_73 or @sota59

GT-MES has seen several different tracks during the years. Here is timeline of the calendar of first 10 seasons:

all-time-tracks.jpg

logo3.jpg

GT-MES is entering its 10th season next week, and soon celebrating its 2-year anniversary.
We have seen 60+ different drivers during our first 9-seasons, many of them have achieved some incredible things, and been big part of GT-MES during, good or bad.

Announcing GT-MES Hall of Fame!
13 drivers have been selected, and will be revealed during the season.
First HoF-driver will be revealed 1st of April, and 2-3 more every week.

New GT-MES HoF-members will be added every 2 seasons.

GT_EAGLE65.jpg

First GT-MES Hall of Fame-member is GT_EAGLE65 (also known as RACIST_EAGLE65) from USA.

GT_EAGLE65 was original members in Season 1 of GT-MES, leagues first star and first Top Class-champion. He was part of some big battles, many times result of starting from back, or driver error dropping him back. But most of the times his blinding speed got him to the wins in the end.

Comments from GT_EAGLE65: ''This is really cool, thanks for the honor''

GT_EAGLE65-2.jpg

In very first GT-MES race, in his Mercedes Gr3-car, GT_EAGLE65 started from the last place, but made very quick overtakes, and took lead already on lap 2. He would hold that lead until end of the race, and become very first GT-MES Top Class winner. He won his second race in a row next weekend in Monza, even after serving drive-through penalty, and third win in a row followed in the Lago Maggiore, after epic battles and drama. That win gave him big championship-lead, and podium next two races secured him first ever Top Class-title in GT-MES history, one round to go.

He would defend the Gr3-title next season in Alfa Romeo, car that had impressed him previous season, in hands of rival. Silly mistake with alarm caused him to miss the opening race of the season, but American returned in next race, taking quite easy win, even after scary mistake. Next race in Monza was epic battle drivers taking the lead, only to spin out. In the end, GT_EAGLE65 took another win, and championship lead. Next weekend would see him take his 6th, and final win sofar. Missing next 2 races dropped him from championship lead, and now already had missed 3 races, when point system could only allow 2. But American had still great shot to the title, after 3 wins, and new 2x point finale ending the season. Absolute thriller in Suzuka yet again due mistakes saw him take lead, drop dead last, get to lead again, but crossed the line 3rd. Going in to the final, American would need a win and bit of luck, but yet again, missed the race, and lost the title to sota59.

For Season 3, GT_EAGLE65 moved up to new Top Class, in new Gr2 cars. He did not have the pace with his Lexus that the rivals had, and small errors cost him even more during the season, and he decided to quit midseason.

American returned in Season 6, entering to returning Gr3 Top Class with BMW. Return was surrounded with big hype, and opening race was very exciting. GT_EAGLE65 lead most of the race, but 2-stop tactic did not work in the end, and he finished 2nd in his return behind Road2FURY. Rest of the season did not go so well, bad luck, mistakes and lack of pace caused him finish back end of the class, and American dropped out midseason yet again.

sota59.jpg

Second GT-MES Hall of Fame-member is 5-time GT-MES champion sota59 from Finland.

Founder of the league, and only driver to take part in all seasons sofar. He is holder for all GT-MES records: starts, wins and titles.

Some words from sota59: ''I would like to thank all other HoF-members that will be revealed next weeks. I have fought with pretty much each of you for race wins past 9 seasons, you guys are what have made the GT-MES.''

sota59-2.jpg

sota59 started with Honda in Gr4-class in Season 1, and won the very first GT-MES race in Lower Class, fighting from last place after going for interesting tactic. Next weekend he was only spectator as a admin, but returned to track for Round 3 in Lago Maggiore. Finnish-driver yet again opted for fuel saving tactic, then fighting back to quite easy win. After this he would be pushing from the start, and first won easily in Kyoto, then in Dragon Trail to win title with race to left. He won his 5th race of the season after battle with Emilius73.

After first season, sota59 was going to focus only on moderating, but in the end, decided to enter Top Class with Porsche. His first Gr3 races were struggle, but was improving after getting to know his car better. sota59 would get quite lucky wins in Blue Moon and Kyoto, and after beating GT_EAGLE65 in Suzuka, who already had missed race too much, Finnish-driver was really in title fight going in to Le Mans Finale. But with his rivals failing to show up, sota59 would cruise to easy race win and his second GT-MES title, first Top Class-title.

sota59 would move to new Gr2-class next season, and fell in love with his Honda from the start. After epic battle for a win in Round 1 with his teammate Nils, they would dominate the class, going back and forth for wins, but sota59 would get the advantage in Round 7, winning second race in a row. He would take his 5th win in a season in Le Mans Finale after another epic battle with teammate, and won his 3rd straight title.

He would stay in Honda Gr2 for Season 4, would team up with his friend jonimestari91, and team that is together to this day. sota59 battled to the lead in Round 1, and won his 4th race in a row. His rival for next 2 seasons, VQS_VitmnG would win the next race, and even after hard battles, sota59 finished behind him next 3 races. He finally beat him in Dragon Trail, won the race and cut back the points difference. Going in to the finale, Finnish-driver would need a bit of luck for the title. He would win in Le Mans easily, but most importantly, his rival VQS_VitmnG would crash out. sota59 had won his 4th title.

Another title-defence in Honda next season, started awfully, getting crashed out, finishing outside the podium. Second place, and a win next 2 races after huge battles seemed to turn season around, but he would get whooped next 2 races by his rivals, xZePhyR96x being clearly miles ahead of rest. sota59 would start to focus on his teammates title run, and having helped him to second place in previous race, jonimestari91 would win in Barcelona after his teammate holded up their rivals. But with both Honda-drivers crashing out in Round 7, title looked unlikely. In Le Mans Finale, 2x points yet again in offer, all would change again, xZePhyR96x would crash out after being overtook by sota59 for the lead, and VQS_VitmnG would also yet again crash. sota59 would win his 4th Le Mans, and 5th straight title.

Näyttökuva (571).png

Before Season 6, it was already known that sota59 would miss his first races since Season 1, so title run would be coming to the end. But he could start the first 5-races, so when Gr3-class became new Top-Class, Finnish-driver would sign with Nissan. Unlike with Honda, he could not get the car working, and before ending his season, high of his season would be 2nd place in Kyoto.

Season 7 he would enter late for Gr4-class with Aston Martin, sharing the entry with his friend jonimestari91. He would make season debut on Round 3, and before handing out the car to his teammate, Finnish-driver would get bit lucky win in Maggiore and Kyoto. He returned to the car for Le Mans-finale, trying to beat his old teammate Nils for win, and the title. But he was clearly outperformed, and title would head to Germany.

sota59 would move back to Gr3 following season, he and jonimestari91 driving pair of Audi's. It became clear from start that best thing would be for sota59 to focus on his teammate doing well. 5-time champion would still get some great results, but even though his teammate was in the end main rival for Kobr4K_21 going in to the Le Mans Finale, it was sota59 who battled with him for the race win. In the end, he would win his 5th Le Mans, first win of the season after close battle, and finished 3rd overall in standings.

Season 9 would see return of Gr2-cars, class where sota59 had won 3 out of 3 titles. He would yet again had to miss races, so title would be unlikely, but he showed some flashes from the past, dominating win in Sardegna being highlight. Unlike last season, he would be the driver in the team going for the title, altought with unlikely odds. After championship-leader VQS_VitmnG once again struggled, door was open. sota59 would have absolutely massive fight with G2 Rotary for Le Mans win, and the Gr2-title last laps of the race, but in the end Finnish-driver would had to settle for second place in race and also in championship.

Round-1.jpg

Round 1 of Season 10 is here!

This is really the season of celebration in GT-MES. 10th season, Hall of Fame revealed and 2 year anniversary of very first GT-MES race will be celebrated 6th of May. 3 of the drivers from very first season will appear this season.

Some big rule changes this year is headlined by the requirement to use both MEDIUM and SOFT tyres in dry races. This will make some very exciting races, with drivers driving potentially on different phases of the races. Another rule change, that we already saw last season, is the change to rolling starts. This will increase the importance of the qualifying. Last rule change is on point system, points now rewarding top positions more, but still extra points coming from Le Mans, with 1.5x points making the race impossible to miss.
Season starts for 10th time in Nurburgring. It will be first time we will see how grid ranks, with many new or returning drivers and team changes. But it is important to remember season is long, weight penalties, extra points for Finale and drivers allowed to improve up to 3 of their worst results if not missing races. Last seasons both Round 1 winners showed some dominant speed, but failed to win the title.

Gr2

Nissan is only team to remain with same line-up. Paradox Autoworks ran team will be headlined by last seasons Gr2 champion, G4 Rotary from UK. Only 3 drivers have been able to defend their title, and he is focused to join that club. Even though he stays in same car, there it lot unknowns to start the season, with new challengers, and he is expecting even tougher challenge this year. His teammate again is German veteran TaZZ_1990. He has practiced a lot with the car and with new improved setup, and is excited for the season. He is hoping for good start, and get some good points in his home race. Will we see him win his first race since Season 7 this season?

Honda experienced up and down season, multiple wins, but missed out on titles first time ever in GT-MES history. Hoping to return winning ways, they signed 5-time champion sota59 back, driver who won them 4 of their 8 drivers titles, 3 of them coming in Gr2. Teammate will be for 7th season in a row, jonimestari91. Finnish-pair won the team back to back manufacturers-titles in S4-S5. Team leader sota59 commented: ''We are very excited to secure return to Honda, car we both know well. Testing has been going well, but season will be a difficult one. We will likely again focus on one car to bring the glory, and early signs suggest it is car #59. We will aim race by race to bring car to the podium, and later on the season, turn them in to win or two.''

Lexus finally made their breakthrough last season, getting their first 2 wins, but when drivers jumped the ship to the rival, things looked bad. Couple weeks later, GTS-BOCA acquired the cars, with former winner GTS_BOCA_SAFFA from South Africa and rookie GTS_BOCA_GIAMP as drivers. After deep testing-program, team look favorite for Round 1. GTS_BOCA_SAFFA is looking to claim that drivers-title, after falling short in Season 6. Main focus for both drivers is the manufacturers title, but with rumours that both drivers would miss the Round 4 race in Monza, they might have to focus on drivers title solely.

Gr3

Audi once again last season showed its car is capable for wins and title fights, but has failed to replicate its success from Season 4. Signing last seasons Gr3-champion Nils might be the big move they needed. German has won his home race 4 times, but 3-time champion sounds cautious: '' I don't have really high expectations for the upcoming season, as least not as high as you'd expect. I'm definitely hoping for results within the top 5 of my class, perhaps even podiums. My ultimate goal would be winning a race but looking at this seasons grid, this will be more than a difficult task.'' But he added that he is confident that he has found good setup for his new car, so dont rule him out. Teammate of his will be rookie Ryslan Zharinov from Belarus. He is excited for the season, but does not yet know how he will rank up againts other drivers, so he is going to Germany with only objective of minimizing mistakes and hoping to have clean race.

After championship glory in Season 8, Mercedes suffered shocking season last time out. They signed veteran driver Emilius73 from Mexico to lead their team, driver that surprised everyone by winning his first races and fighting for Gr3-title last season. He said: ''I hope that I can continue where I left off in Season 9, and to continue improving as a driver and as a competitor. To get closer to the title, to see more podiums, more wins, and go out and enjoy myself on track.'' Even though he missed out on title last season, he won manufacturers title with Porsche, and is looking to repeat that with Mercedes and his new teammate GBM_Amuda74. American-driver made his debut end of last season. He did not make headlines, but showed consistency and race craft. “I’ve already had a little bit of experience in the Ferrari last season, so my main aim is to be in the top half of the field and maybe fight for podiums! This year has tough competition so it will be a challenge for everyone to get a good result”. This team will be one to watch with their enthusiastic drivers.

Porsche won manufacturers title last season, but both drivers departing, they have had to build winning team again. Australian Road2FURY, former Gr4-champion, was the first signing. He will bring the team experience, and he has won in Nurburgring twice in past. Rumours although say he has only signed part time deal, we will have to wait to see how many races will he drive. In other car is rookie from Netherlands, RLH_Wesley99. He is hoping to challenge for the title, but is unsure how is pace will compere to rivals.

BMW returns after couple seasons away, with pair of rookie drivers. Canadian daree1337 is excited for the season, and is hoping to win some races. His teammate osully14, will be missing Round 1, but is looking forward for some good racing, and maybe sneaking win or two as season goes on.

McLaren returns to the GT-MES after long time away, and they have returned with quite a line-up, after Cosmix Esport made last minute deal to enter with pair of their drivers. Season 1 Gr3-champion CSX_Eagle returns after couple seasons away, and you can expect him to be fast, and challenge for wins. Other car is driven by CSX_WiseGuy, who is rookie to the series, but known to be super fast. Will be interesting to see how they do with McLaren.

Hi guys,

Just curious to know if there are any spare seats for round one. I see that all of the full-season seats are filled, but I also see that the chance of drivers skipping races is acknowledged.

Is there any chance to get involved?

Emilius73.jpg

Third GT-MES Hall of Fame-member is Emilius73, also know as GarudaWarwolf, from Mexico.

He is original Season 1 driver, is still driving, and has had long journey. Not been known as top driver, until recently, but has been around long time. He is one of only 5 drivers to drive in all 3 classes.

Emilius73 commented his election: ''Wow, I didn't expect this! I'm really happy and honored to be in it, and I want to thank all the drivers and admins for making GT-MES what it is today. Thank you!''

Emilius73-2.jpg

In Season 1, Emilius73 entered with Honda Gr4 for couple races, making his debut in Lago Maggiore. He was even leading a bit, but eventually finished 3rd. He also appeared in Dragon Trail, but headline of his season was battle for win in Suzuka with sota59, but he was eventually outmatched.

Season 2, Mexican was asked to enter as co-driver for Tetsu in Alfa Romeo Gr3, but this quickly fell appart, when Tetsu quit the series, and Emilius73 struggled in Alfa Romeo badly.

After taking break, Emilius73 returned in Gr3-class with BMW. Mexican did bring team some solid podiums, but was never close matching the pace of his rivals to win races. He finished season 3rd overall.

He again went for long break, running his own GT-SF-series, but did appear in Gr2 class with Lexus for one race. He was able to keep up and even fight with others, but fell to 5th in the end.

Näyttökuva (590).png

Mexican would return for Season 8 in Gr4-class with Aston Martin, and also become GT-MES admin. Once again, Emilius73 struggled and missed several races.

Going in to the Season 9, it was already becoming meme that he had by far most races without a win, but it would all change. Mexican started the season with his Porsche in Round 1 with very impressive 2nd place, and next weekend, he would finaly win his first race.Another win in Fuji, and podium in Laguna Seca made him real contender for Gr3 title going in to Le Mans Finale. Nightmare race in Le Mans left him 4th in standings, but was still incredible season.
