I have to know where this is from. Ricky Gervais? Maybe?

By that logic, the LFA and the 458, both with three functional exhaust tips, would have a 3, 6, 9 or 12 cylinder engine, yet they are V8 and V10. The exhausts tips are not directly conected to the exhaust on each cylinder. Basically, the exhaust manifold collects the exhaust gases from each cylinder to a single pipe, resulting in one tube per bank of cylinders. The exhaust splits again after the muffler, depending on the needs of the project, whether that's cosmetic or not.
I still think the car will either have a V8 (hellcat engine) or Viper's V10 (because of the name of the car, referencing that bike). Other engine types would be surprising to me but not impossible.
I know nothing about exhausts :P

I'm not a fan of those 'air-brakes' in the rear, but I am interested to see/hear of what sort of 'technology' SRT injected into that carbon (?) chassis. Is it just Carbon ?, some sort of Carbon/Alloy mix ?, monocoque or some other 'foundation' ?

It's a fake fantasy car, but seeing as SRT is technically no more, this could be viewed as their swan-song, so I'm curious to know the innards, oddly enough.

Looks like a spam video to me. Get them flagged. 💡

I could, but I don't think that it is the only video of its type in YT... I am sure that more people have done these to "entice" viewers, sadly.

Also, I don't really know about the story of demotivational poster story, so there. ;)

Thank you, Famine. A fine job as usual. 👍

Just remember that this car reminds me of this

just more today :dopey:
While I don't agree at all, I love that my brain went from seeing this to running lines from Full Metal Jacket--ah, gotta love Dorian Harewood.

If you say so, I'm not a full specialist in American cars...

And if Mr. Gilles is the head designer, I'm sure he'll have some sort of involvement with the neo-Tomahawk project.

In the meanwhile, here's an interesting close-up of one of the teaser pictures, courtesy of White_R34 from the PSN forums:

I am so getting Mclaren vibes from that side shot...

So could this mean two versions for the Tomahawk as well (road and racing versions)? The odds are very likely...
Regarding the two version theory, here is something that caught my eye:
The teaser images show an opening over the rear wheels:

But in the video they are covered by panels that serve as aereobrakes:

Indeed, that has been pointed before. In theory, the car shown in the video (the car with the multi-flaps) could pass as the racing version of the Tomahawk, while the one shown in the photos (which have been posted on the Gran Turismo webpage, by the way), the one without the flaps, would be the "street" version.

More high res screenshots.

You stole mae picture!:ouch:

However, it is going to be unveiled Tuesday so there comes the possibility that it could be snuck in like the LM55 was before being unlocked with the Christmas Update.

No SRT VGT in 1.19 unfortunately.

What I feared... I knew that Tuesday unveiling date would mean that there was no way for the Tomahawk to join the game in the 1.19 update.

I have a complementary theory; when the fourth round of GTAcademy comes tomorrow, we could see the Tomahawk alongside the opening of the fourth round and the GT-R LM. A long shot, but it makes some sense...

Wait a second, is that offi...

Ok, it is offcial, never mind that. Bad Photoshop or not, I'll give SRT bonus points for innovation; it is the first time we see a camo'd VGT. But I don't expect that to appear on the ingame version.

And I don't think that the unveiling has happened yet, it must be later today.
