Drive the 2013 SRT Viper GTS – Available both in Forza Horizon, as well as in a soon-to-be-released free download for Forza fans, the 2013 SRT Viper is a car that must be driven to be believed. This American supercar will be playable by Le Mans attendees both in the Forza Horizon demo, as well as in Forza Motorsport 4.

Because the Viper is actually something desirable, unlike the Veloster. They could have easily charged money for this by putting into a regular DLC pack. I hope the GTS-R comes with this free pack.

One has nothing to do with the other. When the Veloster came out weren't the monthly packs coming out regularly?

Well I was a little surprised to be totally honest.

Sure, the thought had crossed my mind that it would be nice if it were to be free, but at the time the new SRT Viper was announced for FM4 that was just an assumption.

Well when the Veloster came out the season pass was still in affect. I think what he was getting at is that people probably thought the Viper would be released in a pack, rather than by itself. So with this being released as a single, than it looks like there wont be a July pack.
 
Not true, just because the Veloster was released when we had the pass, dosen't mean it was with the pass.
I didn't get a pass, and the Veloster was free, and we still got a pack for that month, which I paid for.

Maybe you didnt understand what i was saying. I know it was free, but what im getting at is the Veloster came out when the season pass was active, so DLC was guaranteed because the season pass was still in affect. So theres no telling if there will be a June DLC as there is no season pass, and people thought the Viper would be added to a whole pack in the summer, rather then a single.

There will probably be a July Car Pack. I mean the Veloster pack was released along side another car pack. The July pack might be late...but The Porsche Expansion was released along side June's pack and there have been the VIP Pack and Pre-Order Bonus Pack that were released during the same months as other car packs.

The veloster came out early in the life cycle of the game and as mentioned, was a car no one really wanted. The SRT is the hottest car of the summer, T10 are always greedy, and we're going to be 9 or so months into FM4's life cycle.
 
My god, that GTS-R... Wow.

I know eSZee because when we were at all the meetings with Dodge and Turn10 they made it clear that they could release the car model at launch of Forza 4. We have the documents of everything that went down. Those greedy mofos. By the way eSZee I lost my documents and oddly enough don't remember a thing about these meetings. Could you please post your documents where we know for a fact that this car could have came out earlier and nothing , legal from Dodge, part of ad campaign, or whatever would have prevented it. Thanks.

Yes, we will. It'll be the 2013 SRT Viper GTS and the 2012 #19 Viper GTS-R. It's already been confirmed that BOTH will be in Forza 4. It was actually confirmed by SRT themselves.

BAD: WILL COST ALOT IN THE ACTUAL GAME
 
I won't cost much in game.
 
I thought FM4 allowed people to earn money faster. Especially since if you have affinity with the brands, you're not wasting money on parts.

I blew millions of credits buying nearly all of the Porsches when the PEP launched, and virtually made it all back without breaking too much of a sweat Pretty much just using the bonkers Yellowbird & GT2 RS ;)
 
Yep, made over a million again, which involved buying a few Porsches and doing a handful of the events. This game is rolling in money.
 
Yeah, how come when FM5 comes around I get the feeling we'll be working like dogs for cash and the "good time" FM4 day with come to an end like The Prohibition.
 
People find it easier to play the game out to earn their cash. It doesnt take long to make a million pesos
 
I like the idea of making it easier to earn money. However, I would LOVE to see something like GT5 for FM5 where you have the main game which has places you can mine for cash, or you can do seasonal events and max out your credits within a half hour or so. Seriously, that is the best compromise. That's they best of both worlds. But...if I had to choose one...it'd be the easy way.
